I have the packout for home use and I love it. Between working and family life I don’t have more than an hour per day to work on projects. I don’t want to use that time shuffling through my tool stash or making back and fourth trips to get tools. It’s worth it to Me. And also as a safety issue i used to store my tools in buckets and I would have to dig through the buckets. There’s been a few times where I’d cut myself digging through these buckets and I just had enough of that bs so I invested in the packout.

That's exactly what why I bought into the packout. I was building a swing set and made like 100 trips to the garage when I finally said I'm done. The packout really is a great way to save time and the hassle of looking for tools in your garage for hours only to find it in your basement lol Yikes, cutting your self in the buckets sounds rough. That would have been my last straw. Glad the packout is working out for you so well. Thanks for watching.

Nice video. I have this myself and would like to add that the m18 batteries clip on the the top of each container so the batteries don't need to be stored inside the containers.

Now that's cool. I had no idea. Milwaukee really thought this entire system out when they made it.

@@tgltoday2717 Nice video. Where does the M18 batteries connect to on containers??

    • @tgltoday2717
      @tgltoday2717  3 года назад

@@jackfreely I believe he is saying they clip onto the lids where the cleats usually go. I don't have any m18 batteries so I can't play around with it.

      @@tgltoday2717 that is correct

@@jackfreely they clip in the top of each container. The slots fit the m18 battery as if you were inserting them into a power tool or charger if that makes sense

I like the set up. I got that ten inch hand tools organizer for my hand tools and it’s also a great way to get to them so you don’t have to dig into the boxes for small things.

I will have to look into that. I'm always trying to figure out better ways to organize the boxes. Thank you.

I love the taller half width organgizers. With a kaizan foam insert they make really good small tool kits. I have one for my multi tool, 3 inch cut off tool, 12 volt cable stripper and dies, and a few others. They are just big enough to hold the tool, spare blades and any blade change tools required. If you know you need a specific tool just grab the box and everything you need for that tool is right there. Nice video.

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. Yes, the half size taller organizers are my favorite for that exact reason. I just got another and haven't set it up yet. Great Minds!!!

As a diy’er I bought into the pack out for a few reasons.. 1 I have a lot of expensive tools that I don’t want to leave in my detached garage (easy theft) 2 it forces me to be organized 3 it protects my tools and I like you hate making multiple trips back into the house.

    • @tgltoday2717

For all the reasons you listed, I really do think it's great for a DIYer. Its definitely an expensive investment, but it's made my diy project quicker and more fun. Thanks for watching.

Definitely the best system. If I needed a lot of tools and worked outdoors sometimes, it would be my choice- even with that ghastly color...
All these systems use a lot of space- barely half of the total volume goes to contents. Lot to be said for custom building a case for exactly the tools you normally use.

They sure do take up space and they get heavy fast. For the average guy who isn't a pro using tools everyday, I do think the Versastack/Tstak system is perfect if you want a module storage system.

I never thought about that, but I'd love to see it. I love all the storage from each manufacturer.
