- The first part of the full voting of the 1972 Eurovision Song Contest, with Finnish commentary and in this part the votes from:
- Germany, France, Ireland
- Span, United Kingdom, Norway Видеоклипы
Spain voted very bad for the favourites that night... "strange" thing. Luckily the changed that voting system soon
They tried to cheat
Another example of why this was the worst scoring system ever. No excitement or tension for the points, but for me personally, I can't stand seeing these people give perfectly fine songs from Portugal, Switzerland and Finland just one point, regardless of taste. At least give 2 for effort!
👍So right! ❤
The table if today's system was used:
1. Luxembourg 🇱🇺 - 157pts
2. United Kingdom 🇬🇧 - 126pts
3. Germany 🇩🇪 - 107pts
4. Netherlands 🇳🇱 - 105pts
5. Austria 🇦🇹 - 80pts
6. Italy 🇮🇹 - 70pts
7. Portugal 🇵🇹 - 70pts
8. Yugoslavia - 62pts
9. Switzerland 🇨🇭 - 57pts
10. France 🇫🇷 - 49pts
11. Spain 🇪🇸 - 48pts
12. Finland 🇫🇮 - 31pts
13. Norway 🇳🇴 - 24pts
14. Sweden 🇸🇪 - 19pts
15. Ireland 🇮🇪 - 17pts
16. Monaco 🇲🇨 - 9pts
17. Malta 🇲🇹 - 8pts
18. Belgium 🇧🇪 - 5pts
So many great songs! FINLAND was better than 12th!!!
laughable that spain gave 1s to the UK & luxembourg the best songs in the contest, its hilarious
They cheated
@@SimsMoyal How could they? Spain wasn't even close to winning that year. They didn't like them. Grow up
@@Sergioperis They thought they would, just like in 1973 when they gave again all the leading songs 1 and 1 - you should grow up and accept reality
@94ayd This was actress/dancer Moira Shearer, best known for appearing in the 1948 movie The Red Shoes
muzi ga i ti,muzi ga i ti
Wasn't this the time when Europe was afraid of becoming anglicized? - think about the number of American TV shows that suddenly hit the television in the late 1960s/early 1970s. I also note that five countries were singing in French (France, Switzerland, Monaco, Luxembourg & Belgium), two in German and everyone else in a different language. This looks to me like a voting block (note voting blocks are not intentional, but something exists that makes people vote in the same way) - here it is a common language.
Spain giving 2 to Luxembourg. Was where a chance for Spain to win hahahah! Shame on yo
his got nick names for the countries Schwzile, Sumoile, italiale .....
at 8:38 to see Tereza Kesovija
The Spanish jurors should be ashamed awarding 2 points to Luxembourg
They trying to cheat
@@SimsMoyal I'm surprised they didn't try and vote for themselves
Votes For UK 7:07 :)
1 5
1 5
Spain UK Norway
Antonio Orlović Same Thing For Luxembourg 9:07
Again like last year both Spanish juries giving 1,1 to the winning song
Talk about cheaters
Why Monaco didn't host Eurovision song contest that year?Monaco was winner in 1971!
Vatroslav Markus I read they didn't have enough technical resources or plans in place to do an outside broadcast.
They could not find a suitable venue in time, sadly.
i think spain is getting its umuppance in modern day eurovision, because these juires from 1971 - 1973, and the ones previous and post this also had such erratic voting and very tactical, it seems nowadays, the modern juires are remembering this and ounishing spain, which is fully deserved!
@oxymoron01 - who cares for Terezan Kesovija ? You are her son Alan Ungar and you have no measure to exaggerate mother's vocal capabilities.Shame on you !More than half the comments on her videos, you are wrote under different names.
What a dreadfull voting system
Everybody crying cause Spain just gave 2 points to UK, but saying nothing about UK giving 3 points to Spain 6:59 🤡
because Spain's song suckd
@@zalkkareita9017 spaniards whine alot about esc
@@fz7091 You’re right, I just see Spanish whining in the comment section, not Brits 😏
