At one point during the debate, Vernon Jones is giving Mike Collins a hard time, saying that Mike Collins's dad was once a democrat. Well Vernon Jones also was once a democrat. To me this makes Vernon Jones a hypocrite.
Also many Democrats, especially in the South, were very conservative. I've voted for many Democrats over Republicans because the Republicans were too liberal and wishy washy. Southern Democrats were a different breed than New York/California liberals.
