That would be kool. But I think the hot plastic would melt the filament mold. I have 3d printed a lure for soft plastics and used that to make a mold out of silicone.
They might have a higher melting. That would be worth checking out. @revamped outdoors is also doing something similar with the 3d soft plastic molds. ruclips.net/video/MkCglbAV4hs/видео.html
This one is an inch and a half. I was looking to make a lure just a bit smaller so you can catch a wider array of fish with it. I do have more of a regular size one here. www.thingiverse.com/thing:3243632
For the screw eyes and split rings if you need them right away hobby lobby has them in the jewelry section. They are on the cheaper side and are not very durable. Otherwise lurepartsonline.com has all you would need.
Thanks for sharing your print design however I am having some issues creating the supports you have in the beginning of this video. Somehow, I am unable to move it up the z axis to add a cradle like support. I am new and any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also it says one fish eye is missing material. Awesome design though!
All slicer programs are different in how it generates support. What slicer are you using to 3d print the lure? Usually there are options on what degree angle it will add support, adjust that and it should add more where it’s needed.
@@upscalelures i am using Cura. I wish I could find more video tutorials on how to use Cura slicer. So change the angle and it may add more supports? I’ll give it a try. Thank you
Does this need to be cured by a UV light? The website says to cure either by UV light or MEKP, but then on the cans it says sunlight or MEKP. I'm confused.
Penguin Life A black light witch is UV, works well. You can find a cheap UV Nail Lamp on ebay or Amazon. I use that for a solid 30 Minutes. You can cure them in the sun, but take longer in my experience.
Would you mind to let me know that the tool for you spray the color (0:24, 0:32, 0:42).
Thanks
Maybe 3d print a mold for soft baits?

@@upscalelures I didn't know if the metal Infused plastic . steel or aluminum would hold up. It will shrink a little.

@@upscalelures Awesome. I will try both sizes. Do you happen to have links to the hardware you installed? Not sure what size hooks, eylets, etc.
Thanks for sharing. What and where did you get the hardware for the hooks and top to attach the line too.

Thanks for watching! What should I Design next?!
A minnow shaped glide bait for creek smallmouth. :)
That would be awesome!
printable bobber stop. Tricky/challenging because you need to design them to be crushed / crimped!
That would be interesting! Possible a different material could be used. Like a flexible filament that would work like a rubber band.
Beautiful *video* congratulations Stay with God and good fishing. Hug!!!👍🎣
Thanks! What county are you fishing in?
Awesome product Kenny! When can I buy a dozen?
You can bet your sweet bippie that if I had a 3D printer that I'd be printing those in the morning. Great video Kenny. The fly rod was killing me.....
Thanks again! Hey, It works great! Super flexible, it has to be close to 9 feet long making perfect for long casts and the sensitivity is suburb!
cool m8t ;)))
Thanks!
I'm here for the throat punch, also for the emotional abuse.
