All 4 of my kids have said I’m “just a mom” at one time. My husband likes to say, “okay we’ll send mom away for a week and see if y’all survive”😂 they’ll know the truth and appreciate us one day.

Lol your daughter sounds like my five year old son! He tells me I'll just clean his messes lol. I stay home with four kids and homeschool. I work ALL day long yet they still say I dont have a 'job'. Haha. My husband is constantly reminding them that they wouldn't eat or have clean clothes if it wasnt for me.
My husband is a veteran. We’re home in MS now. But our roles are now reversed. He grew up in a home in a home where both parents worked and I grew up in a single parent home. So, we knew when we got married one of us would stay home with the kids when we had them. I love to work outside of the home. Healthcare is exhausting, but I enjoy it. It just works for us. I joke all of the time about him being Mr. Mom. The boys love having him home though. But for some reason people can’t wrap their head around him being home instead of me 🤷🏻♀️
I have the highest respect for 'just Mommies"!! Y'all are some really hard working ladies!! I don't have any children only cats lol & I'm a lot older than you but I still find myself getting motivation & inspiration from you 🤗 & I am not too old to learn new things!! Thanks for your videos!! 💖

Ah I’ve heard that too when not working. It’s funny. When they are little it’s so easy for them to change their mind when it’s explained. She is so cute. Yes I have to run the shampoo machine but been so busy I haven’t had time. My rug is ugh. I feel loved when I’m treated right or appreciated. : )

I laughed when you daughter was schooling you on being "just a mom". My kids are all about grown, and over the years I've had similar discussions with each of them. You did the right thing to wait and discuss when your husband was home. When both mom and dad are telling them the same thing and showing solidarity, it makes a bigger impact. I love your home and get a lot of great motivation from you, especially during this quarantine time. Stay safe and God bless

I am OCD when it comes to my bed. The second thing I do in the mornings is make my bed. My family makes fun of me about my bed. I have to have a fitted and flat too. It is a have to for my husband as well.💗
My daughter is the EXACT same way with our cat! She picks her up and you can tell the cat is just so uncomfortable and awkward but they love each other it’s a give and take relationship, the cat just lets her do whatever, she’s a great pet! 😂

Oh my dogs love to be covered up with blankets and pillows like that!! Haha, I was the same with animals always wanting love and forcing my love lol. Wait I am still that way... and I love those great animals that just let whatever be done to them because they are so calm and loving.. it’s so sweet..

Girl, I really just wanted to let you know you are amazing and I really look up to you so so much. You have inspired me to just go for my dream that I have been dreaming about for years to make myself a channel, I am no where near there yet, I am on about my 4th month of research lol because I do have 4 beautiful girls so I am very busy already, but one day maybe I will be brave enough to just go for it. I feel very blessed that my husband knows what a hamper is for😂. He also hangs his towel up after he showers.
I've had my kids tell me that exact thing. What they forget to add is that mom goes to school and baby sits full time and takes care of everything.
Great video i like that you shared the 2 comments the one with the poop that was funny, I hate when I just deep cleaned the bathrooms and then some one get sick in there it drives me crazy

Closing my children’s door is always my go too!! I don’t clean rooms I don’t mess up. To keep my sanity I just close the doors!! 🤷🏽♀️👍🏾

Sometimes my husband puts his clothes in the basket and sometimes they go on the floor. Either way, it doesn’t bother me at all! He works so hard every day so that I’m able to stay home and homeschool our kids. The *least* I can do is pick up his clothes after he’s worn out! Love your videos, your cleaning videos are my favorite on RUclips ❤️

About making the bed, if you use a flat sheet you don't have to wash your blankets/comforters as often. Generally a sheet is less expensive to replace than a blanket, washing fabrics again and again wears them out. Showing my age now, before there were fitted sheets we used only flat sheets. There were six kids in our family, my mom would just wash the bottom flat sheet and then the top flat sheet would be the bottom sheet. That saved some laundry (wringer washer and no dryer). You had to make your bed with tight corners. Everyone has their own systems, which change from areas of the country and also with the generations.
I agree with that tho! I don’t have to wash my blankets nearly as often.
Convo w/ Kinsley was funny. When my son was younger he would tell me that cleaning the house was girls work and outside work is boys work (I mean he was just observing how we do at our house because that’s the chores we choose) but I let him know right away that a boy can clean that toilet too and I would make him take his turn. Now that he’s older his dad keeps him busy outside and I don’t make him most of the time but he knows that boys can do all of things if it’s needed! My husband is great at getting the whole family involved in helping with house chores and backing me up lol.

This video is full of your good advice. Similar words that your 5 year old said to you were said to me by my 30 year old daughter when she was here for few days at Christmas. She said that the money in my husband & my joint bank account was just his since I don’t work. I quit my job to be caregiver for my elderly in-law & I do work part time organizing other people’s homes. To make it worse my husband said also that it was his money. Proud of you & your husband for talking to your daughter even though she is just 5. Obviously I failed raising my daughter.
I’m sorry hun! You work too. Managing a household is work! If you didn’t do it he’d have to hire someone to clean and cook and launder and maintain the home. Simple facts. You are important. 🥰
I have always used a flat sheet on top of the fitted one!
My husband doesn’t throw them on the floor unless he’s just getting into bed (they end up on the floor next to the bed) . He will either sit them on the dresser or any other flat surface because he will “wear it tomorrow” he almost never does 🤦🏻♀️😂
Mine does the same thing! He says he wasn't done wearing it....he might wear it again... Im like UMMMMMM 😬

About the bed....definitely a top sheet! But here’s what I always wonder...why do people put it on wrong?!! The pattern of the top sheet is supposed to go down so that when you get into bed, or fold the sheets down, you can see the pattern.
Mine is only soft on the underside so I want that side on me!

I used to use a flat sheet. I no longer do though. I used duvets for layers!! I find it so much more comfortable!!!

I make the bed the same you do. In the past we used a duvet and no top sheet, but I didn’t like that, and we don’t give the kids a top sheet because it’s easier for them to just have the blanket. I’ve thought about using the Beddies bedding, but my boys love their Minecraft bedding. 👍🏼

Yes my husband too do that laundry on floor plus I do the same way you make your bed info I think that is the right way Lol but some people don't like flat sheet but that is the way I did it when I was growing up

Totally feel ya on the dusty furniture! I live in AZ with two dogs and we have dark furniture. So much dust and dog hair on the dark furniture! 😱😱😱
My husband and I do everything 50/50 and agreed on that before we even got married 13 years ago and we’ve been together almost 19 years. *high school Sweethearts* so I can’t say I have that issue but I could understand the frustration definitely if there is a basket. Sigh 😊

Between closing the bedroom door & your little ones comment about “you’re just the Mommy” lol. I’m seriously cracking up today. I have 3 in their 30’s & worked during their childhood but now we have a 9.5 yr old daughter (I stay home now) & she’s made a few comments like this to me. We’ve definitely had several conversations with her but it’s still funny. 😜🤣

In the summer we just use the top sheet. In the winter we just use the duvet, and when my husband on evenings I throw a fuzzy blanket on the bed.

I’ve been doing lights and darks too instead of whites...and I’ve been using the Clorox ultimate care with the lights...for me it keeps them bright without taking away any color or leave weird marks and doesn’t smell strongly

I make my bed just like you. I can't give up the layers, I need the flat sheet and the blanket in the middle, it doesn't feel like a propperly made bed otherwise...but to each his own of course! :)

My guest beds get exactly what you described that you like to do. Fitted, flat, knit blanket and comforter. This is ideally how I want my bed set up, but my hubby doesn't like the flat sheets, and I find it just doesn't get used. We also use two comforters. Usually the flat is off my bed, and one of the comforters is folded and put away during the day.
My biggest guilty pleasure is actually not making my bed. LOL But I love when it is! So on those days you know I want to nap! LOL

When my son was real little he had the same opinion on me staying home vs his dad working and the jobs of each, we both had to have a talk with him as well so he understood each was just as important as the other. Kids always have such innocent perspectives on things when their that age. Have a great day💕

Yayyyy you straighten the bottom sheet i cant stand getting in bed with the sheet untidy :/ and yes im in England and use a bottom sheet but a quilt in a cover orrrr a comforter in the summet lovely vid i need to stop watching these ive bought tons of products and am cleaning like crazy but ya know what i like it !! I was taught to make the bed with the same coverings as you do. That is how we were taught. The top sheet absorbs body moisture and helps insulate the body and the blanket on top doesn't get too dirty so quickly. In warm summer evenings it is nice to just have a nice cool sheet on as opposed to having a heavy blanket or even a light blanket on. Hospital corners on the bed as well to keep the bottom of the flat sheet to stay in place is how we were taught. Mother had seven siblings as did I and we all still do it the same. I loved your pet peeves question as well. My husband also must have a magnet on his floor in front of his nite stand because that is where his clothing lands. It drives me over the edge! The hamper is two feet from the side of his nite stand!!! ????? LOL Yepppp Uffff LOL Oh well, I try to consider it my daily exercise picking it up. Some days I ask "do you have anything to be laundered"......LOL He says "Oh Yes"........and yet I still use it as some days exercise. HA HA
