Love these Sunday Elvis reactions! Look forward to it. I love your commentary as well. Elvis hired Ronnie not because he was the best technical drummer who auditioned but because he could follow and highlight Elvis on the drums so well. And what an awesome drummer he turned out to be! You can see the joy he has when he is playing. Contagious!!
Yes Ronnie Tutt was one of the best under rated drummers I feel that ever performed. The bass player Jerry Scheff and the bass voice JD Sumner the best talent up there with Elvis omg. You need to listen to Never Been to Spain from Elvis on Tour this is the best performance from everyone in that stage! It’s an exciting and emotional performance from Elvis and the band.
@@rong805 The blue one isn't Ronnies - it was a replica I made (and used to make a tribute drum cover of the Aloha special on my own RUclips Channel) and then sold to Michael Moore who now owns it and the Chrome Over Vistalite kit used in the CBS Special. The original blue kit was donated to Hard Rock Cafe by Ronnie years ago and has disappeared from public view as far as we've been able to track down.
I love how I can watch the same Elvis footage repeatedly and still catch something new. I just saw where Elvis looks and points to the side to cue Charlie Hodge on the harmony bit. Anyway, Elvis looks smashing here and even a bit slimmer than in some of his other "Elvis On Tour" performances - though the outfit can play a bit of a role in that. Anyway, that's JD Sumner with the bass vocals of the JD Sumner and the Stamps. Hats off also to Charlie here with some great harmony! There is a nice gospel clip from the "On Tour" film that occurred well after a show, late into the night and early morning. It features Elvis, some of his entourage and the Stamps jamming to gospel tunes. Incredible and touching footage.
Just found your channel and love seeing elvis reactions he was so amazing to watch . I still wonder what it was actually like to be at one of his concerts i bet it was a phonemonial experience...
Elvis began incorporating Proud Mary into his live shows in 1970 - before Ike and Tina Turner recorded it - their version is more universal famous though
I’ve seen bits, even though I want to watch it all the way through, it might mean I see stuff that I’d like to watch on the channel for the first time, so having to be strong and deny myself at the moment 😞
Fabrica is amazing w-how she works videos for the best quality possible; i always look for videos from her before i look at or recommend anything. The other person's video quality to look into is Gianni Guerriero. Have you thought of doing a comparison video w-"Jailhouse Rock" they are short & comparing the 2 wouldn't be a problem - 1957 from his film at ruclips.net/video/MfrC8PAQtlg/видео.html (3.28 min.) & his rousing version from his ’68 comeback special at ruclips.net/video/87N6Qa0D7KY/видео.html (1:50 min.) Comparisons are interesting as you can see the differences. Hope you can do the water throwing incident from 1972 at ruclips.net/video/LNtP5Gd8QGE/видео.html (Fabrica worked on the quality on this one.) None other than Elvis' backups -- he had the best of the best. Thanks so very much.

The original is CCR’s by John Fogerty

LOVE Ronnie Tutt. Have you seen the Spa Guy videos about where this blue drum kit, along with the last one from Elvis' 77 Special, are now located?
@@rong805 no I haven’t

Elvis once sang Sweet Caroline and I think you'll enjoy watching and reacting to it, just a suggestion :)

I think Credence Clearwater Revival did it first.
