- Former Nickelodeon producer Dan Schneider is suing the production companies behind 'Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV,' which accused him of alleged inappropriate behavior. Dan Schneider says in a statement to E! News, "I was in any way involved in heinous acts like those committed by child predators."

“Quiet on Set” never alleged he was actively sexually abusing children. Only that he made inappropriate content and had inappropriate relationships. It’s the public that’s gone one step further to say we believe the unknown is even worse.
But hey, let this somehow be an opportunity for the law to finally investigate him. The allegations made by *the public* can’t be untrue if they find something that verifies it all 🤷🏻
I watched it, and while you're right, I did pick up on the fact they were trying to connect him to the worse things covered. I thought about it at the time, like "wait a minute".
They were implying that the whole time, which is just messed up to do. And whenever I hear someone talk about the doc, they mention Dan with these creeps, implying he was part of it.
It's crazy there be people supporting that man. Like I understand he has the right to sue. But let's sink that in what he did in the past.
He didn't do anything. Allegations aren't evidence. It can't even be used in a courtroom.

I mean there was no concrete proof of that in the documentary. He was mainly accused of workplace harassment, sexism etc. No one accused him on the doc directly. Also the thing with Amanda is true, then she needs to substantiate it.

I mean he deserves to sue. What's unfortunate is that there's no real proof. Just rumors. There is however a weird audition tape of Ariana Grande upside down on a bed sexually pouring water down her own throat which I find very disturbing and odd that her and Jamie Lynn Spears haven't come forward about the weird things he had them doing. I think until Kel Mitchell, Kenan Thompson, Amanda Bynes etc. come forward then it'd wrong to jump to conclusions on the matter until there's hard evidence.

Here is the problem with insinuation without direct accusation. If you lay out that someone is a jerk and a creep and also pepper worse stories around that without clear delineation between the 2, your audience is likely going to conflate the 2 things, and you've got a lawsuit.
It's good in a way. Now everything that couldn't be shown in the docu will come out in court.

As much of a bad boss Dan was, I do agree that they should sue because they did put him in with literal predators, and that's just not cool. People who haven't seen the docs may think he did those things....

There were tons of adults around if someone would have said something…… Dan our parents are boomers they sweep trauma under the carpet, expect us to move on, and act like nothing ever happened.
