Hey great video, as someone who doesn't really own any other Kontakt instruments at the moment, do you think it's worth getting Kontakt 7 for the Factory Library 2? Are people actually using the factory library for production?
I'm sure people are using it but, whether it's worth buying the full Kontakt just for it depends on what you already have. Recently they were selling just the Library to be used with the Kontakt Player but I don't see it on the website right now. Maybe the offer will re-appear in the future, I don't know.
@@LowHeatBeats I don't have a lot of plugins libraries yet, but I also don't want to invest in a collection of subpar (?) libraries that I might replace by other (non-Kontakt) stuff in the future anyway

i don't see those same libraries in my update. is there a version of ultimate u need to get those new sounds? just upgraded my kontakt to 7 and all the libraries seem the same (komplete ultimate 10) the upgrade was around 450 megs
Aaah yeah, I completely understand why you wouldn't be so thrilled about this update. But I'm hoping they will do something bigger in the future, after the transition to Apple silicon is sorted. Also the merger with iZotope and Plugin Alliance should help with that as well.

being announced that it is easier and faster..the fact that they removed the attribute of calling the window quick load with the right mouse button was a terrible idea...the quick load menu does not auto update from K6

If I remember corrctly, yes, the MIDI channel will be preserved if you drag and drop it on top.

Kontakt 7 should definitely come with the Factory Library 2, no need for Komplete.

Brother, its almost like there is no longer a need for hardware synths. I have two hardware synths but no need for anymore.
Absolutely man, h/w synths are fun and I use them sometimes but plugins sound just as good and sometimes even better.
Sometimes I choose a plug-in over a hardware synth simply bc it’s quicker to bounce the track to audio 😏🎹

Make sure all updates are installed in Native Access and if you still get this error contact NI support.

Yes, it's a separate download in Native Access.
How large is the new Kontakt 7 factory library? How many gigs?
I think it's more about how many instruments it contains which is around 900. Otherwise it's about 40 gigs.
