That randomat always picks Zylus when he's there, but when he's not, it actually keeps track of everyone's detective winrate. It's the first stats-based randomat I made that we've seen in videos.
I feel like it keeps track of detective win rate, but only on the one map, which means Zylus did have a 100% win rate because he was the detective one time that map and the innocents won because of Rythian RDMing everyone. That or it is just for the memes, as it might keep track of it throughout all maps.
I actually thought that was a genuinely smart thing they did. and I was surprised how quickly the others considered the possibility of them both bluffing.

I was a bit disappointed that Rythian intentionally threw the game to end the round early, I actually wanted to see the harpoon round, it’s been ages since the last one.
@@Florian87 Rythian does that whenever he's under the effects of something he doesn't like. Like how he has intentionally thrown zombie rounds because he doesn't like being a zombie. The guy is really not good at the "roll with it" part of group based content creation.
agreed, randoman would work better as a jester role than a detective one, and to make it so randoman retains some of the randomness they should have separate categories of randomats instead of specific randomats, for example there could be an sfx randomat category which triggers randomats like Sosig, Sahmin, or Narration, a visual category which triggers randomats like Noir or Upside Down, etc.

The sheer amount of laughter and fun in this one video is spectacular! This is the kind of TTT I love, a little serious, and a lot of silly inter-personal banter while playing.
Fun fact, that line, "It's vision is based on movement", is incomplete. In the book, Alan realizes immediately that it's not true after he says it, because the T-rex was still staring and goes in to attack. The scene didn't translate properly into the movie because they never talk about it after that.
Yeah Alan's Grant's theory after that was related to the rain agitating and overwhelming the rex. I think it came up in Lost World too. Vision based on movement was a possibility based on Allan and his paleontologist friends as the book had more time to depict the marvel and spectacle for Dr Grant having live specimens now whereas Speilberg had dino go rawrrawr just a few minutes in. I wish they fit more mystery and dino-science into the film.

That kill by Duncan was really smart because either Ben revives as a traitor buddy and they both pretend to be innocent or if Ben did revive as innocent he could claim Ben revives as a traitor and is framing him... It is literally just a free kill for traitors. Unless they can turn into a detective... That would really screw that plan up.

@@PureOctarine I don't think it's fair to use the harpoon round because as Rythian himself said, he wasn't using intuition, logic, or anything like that, he was just trying to end the round as quickly as possible and attacking everyone in sight, but from watching these videos for a long time now, I'd say it's in the 80% at least when they had the intuition the person was a traitor and were correct
Well, to be fair, they could still have doubts. I've been like that before- set on taking a specific action, but then doubting myself and hesitating, because of the "what if?"s. Their thoughts could be "I'M SO SURE! ...but what if I'm wrong? Then we're in an even worse position!"
@@NimonoSolenze the problem is that they don’t know statistics, there are 7 people, 2 are traitors, you can kill up to 3 people and be wrong and still be on equal terms with the traitors, if it wasn’t for the time limit and auto-win for innocents if they aren’t killed this game would encourage innocents to take risks and traitors to play safe, and not the other way around

@@adamw3774 A few people have tried to track stats across all rounds. If the mod is just for the Yogscast, you could just hard-code those stats.

As far as I know ( in canon ) Zylus is the only Yogscast member with a 100% Detective win rate.
