PSO2NGS OST - Matoi (from PSO2)

Ahh, Spring is here and the flowers are blooming. Aelio and Kvaris especially are blanketed in pink as the cherry trees blossom this Spring 2024.
I've been greatly enjoying the seasonal festivities in PSO2NGS, and the music used both in town and in the LTQ has been fantastic. As you can see, I've been capturing it, along with a visual of my characters, for the enjoyment of my fellow ARKS Defenders.
Today, we're doing town music! Yes, for the Spring event, they play Matoi's theme from base PSO2 during the day and another wonderful piece at night (which I will post next). Very sweet and sentimental sounding, fitting with the Spring atmosphere. I'm sure those that experienced base PSO2 are feeling nostalgic when they hear this. I believe it was said that Tadashi Kinukawa is the composer for this piece, and while I can't say I'm familiar with that name, something about Matoi's theme feels very familiar. It reminds me of Final Fantasy X, songs like Yuna's Theme or ever Rikku's Theme. They also carry that sweet and sentimental vibe, though Rikku's Theme is a bit more cheery. But yeah, Matoi's theme oddly becomes nostalgic for me as well for that reason.
If you're like me and you really like the seasonal songs as well, but can't always pinpoint where they're from since you didn't play all the Phantasy Star titles, I've got you covered this time. I will say, it's in my plans to play base PSO2 soon. People seem to love the characters like Matoi and Hitsugi, and I'd love to see for myself why besides their lovely designs.
