I got my set in this week and I have to say i am very pleased. The quality is great and the original 4x3 aspect ratio intact. Thank you for bringing us a proper release. Highly recommended for all Robocop fans. I cant wait to dive into all the extras. I would love to see your company release both Robocop Animated series on Bluray as well. Please make it happen.
Does anyone know if the UK Blu-Ray is pan-and-scanned (cropped) to fit modern 16:9 TVs? The US version was and it looked terrible, especially in the MediaBreak sections where the top of the presenters heads were cut off to allow for the on screen captions to be seen?
@@jimwantsaliens no probs, the picture is a bit all over the place though, it’s not great. Definitely watchable and I’ve never owned the series before so don’t know what the dvd’s looked like! Just watching the pilot now, seems fun so far!
Unlike the movies I don't think he actually shoots or kills a single person in the series. But Robocop was one of those things just about every young boy thought was cool as hell. So this was a great show for kids who liked the character but weren't old enough to see the movies yet and might have only seen the first cartoon.
Nooo we don’t talk about the godawful 4th movie that never existed period! . they’re is only 1 movie true robocop movie the 87 one that’s it! The second movie was so so
@@b_side8669 We definitely talk about the second movie, which still has Peter Weller, holds up all the violence and adult themes retaining the essence (but not necessarily the search for humanity) of the first movie. Despite a couple goosebump scenes in the 3rd one, you can't forgive them killing Lewis instead of Sarge. He could have been pissed at Murphy for disobeying orders and followed him to that church, but no. : ( Prime Directives at least has a soul to it, despite meh effects and sometimes a lack of action, there is a lot going on and feels like it does have a point with his son. It held up much better on a repeat watch a year ago than when it originaly came out. I love Dianna in the Series, so they've just about all got something redeeming to them. Robocop's Jetpack Scene is the moment you watch the third film for, or when he saves the cops from the Splatterpunks, or some of those moments with Dr. Lazarus. But again, it's seriously just too brought down by killing Lewis and not letting Robocop have much action. The grenade to the chest thing was seriously lame, he should have tanked that. But on top of that he just gets knocked down over and over by Otomo? That was just bad bad bad writing on all three fronts.
You know what Robocop the live action tv series is finally out on DVD 📀 and Blu Ray as a complete series I’ll might get the complete series on Blu ray for Christmas 🎄
Some of the special features on the set list "Lisa Madigan" - but this is the character name, not the actress name, which should be listed as Yvette Nipar, hopefully this can be corrected before release.

Yvette Nipar as Madigan was my first ever TV crush.
Cracking show! Loved it as a child and still watch it now and again as an adult
Characters' rights for RoboCop now currently owned by Amazon MGM Studios via Orion Pictures' division.
Watching RoboCop TV series it's good loved RoboCop as a kid I had all the toys and everything from it
Wish they could put up a couple of clips of the show to see it’s quality. I want to know if it’s worth upgrading.

Just received it today and it’s 4:3 doesn’t look cropped to me!
@@INDIEREMIX Cool looks like they took note of the complaints about the US edition. Thanks

@@INDIEREMIX It's a completely different master to the US one apparently.

Richard Eden was a great RoboCop
Wow, I didn't even know there was a TV series, I thought it was just the 4 movies.

My favorite from the movies is Robocop 3 @@b_side8669
Oh yes, we do. The original trilogy. It’s there. Deal with it.

My childhood 🥰
Will this release be region free?
It's good but ed 209 isn't in it
I couldn't even sit through the first episode. What a piece of crap.
Is Diana even inside the computer at that point? O.o
The series has its bad and slow moments, but it also has many memorable great ones.
