So much respect for your rebuild of your LS 3. You persevered even with all the setbacks. I have the active exhaust from B and B (Billy Boat) on the C5. Both modes are quiet! Almost the same. Big disappointment! Wish I had my Corsa Pace Car Mufflers back.
Huh, i thought i heard both modes were loud with the BB system.. I was going to get that until i researched and heard both modes were basically the same so i got some NPP muffs of the marketplace and the NPP in a box kit and am looking forward to installing..
LS9 mufflers are junk. The internal baffles are super thin and brittle. I have a video of what that looks like inside. Get a Hooker BlackHeart NPP system and be done with it.
Ese @ 3:46 Rocks In Your Rockers, self adhesive weather stripping on the inside of the plastic fender well lining to fiberglass body fender. Also inside Rocker to fender! Also someday put some decent sway bar end links and check your rear axel nuts.......
Yo i wanted to see if you really fixed it the last part where you said it was fixed the valves were open i wanted to hear it with the valves closed to see how quiet you got it that was the whole point of the video lol
The flaps were closed at the end, and you didnt hear the rattle anymore. The reason it sounded so loud is cause my mic was pointed at the outer tips. Those remain open on quiet mode. Only inside pipes close.
@@PushingGears idk bro it looks like the flap is open when you look down the hole. And it did sound loud too but mainly because I could see the flap open is why I said that..
