The manga and anime deviated in the last few episodes because the dumbass in charge of the Claymore anime couldn't wait 2 months for the manga to get ahead of the anime. So they pulled a Full metal alchemist and created their own cliffhanger ending.. (which was a stupid decision.) The Manga is uber Long my recommendation is find it online and read from when Claire gets her new arm from the previous rank 2 claymore "flash sword" Hopefully you'll make sense of the story from that point with less confusion as the manga has more detail and plot building. Just a warning Lot's of death ahead, and unlike the anime Priscilla and the "King of the North aren't randomly killed off.There's a lot more story after the battle of the north also you'll learn the backstory of the organization, the claymores, their swords, and the youma. Also not all youma even though they still eat people are jerkfaces keep that in mind Isley of the North is a good example.
I do too its like a female Berserk character guts just as a female i love both Berserk & Claymore but if i would have to choose a series to get a season its Claymore
I remember screaming along with the protagonist in the EPIC battle against silver lion.. moto, MOTO, MOTOOOO!!!! Only two anime have made me feel this way: Claymore and Bleach. Many thanks Lordichy for this amazing tribute... and i fucking love Disturbed!

ive reread the entire manga in one day xD a thousand times.. the anime is just like 1/4 of the manga btw, and the last 2 episodes are a rush job for a rush ending. Manga has such a good ending that will make any fan cry xD
yeah, of course i read the manga, the manga is so powerfull that i don't understand why they didn't continue to anime because there are a lot of characters and fights i wanted to watch with the quality of the anime... :_(
Actually there is slight chance that season 2 will appear cause manga finished 3 years ago, but the thing is that it's studio madhouse :( I hate the animes that promote manga - it's not enough for me :D Maybe someday other studio will make season 2, I hope so :D

i wish they could make whole adaptation of manga, because manga is veeery long. probably they wont make it because is very brutal, and maybe not popular enough in japan :| like what they did with terra formars season 2 removed completely violence that it looks nothing like manga even though terra formars is very popular in japan.....
