In my 17 years of being a Kpop fan, I think some fans will agree with me on this one, what BTS is right now is what B.A.P should've been if only their company wasn't some load of crap in management. BTS' messages in their songs are what B.A.P was saying early on in their career. Their popularity skyrocketed so quickly, they were everywhere and everyone recognized them for their talents but unfortunately as quick as they rose is as quick as they fell off the map thanks to their damn company TS Entertainment.
MTV-K was a big proof of that & that was in 2013 New York (you can check that on RUclips, 4 songs + interviews from 9 years ago)! 4 years ahead of BTS got invited to Ellen...

B.A.P The best group I’ve even seen live If there company had treated them well they would have been as big if not bigger then BTS and I love them to . But to this day it’s so sad to think about what could have been . I mis them a lot

Long comment ahead because I became so emotional, but I can't believe you reacted to B.A.P. In the 13 years I've been into K-pop, they were the only other group I became a huge fan of after Super Junior. They were truly a group ahead of their time. They had everything from great rappers to vocalists to dancers and even a great music producer as their leader. They have songs of various genres and their lyrics dealt with both lighthearted themes and deep societal issues like mental health, police brutality, racism, crime, etc. They were, and still are, very passionate about their craft. It is really a shame that their company treated them horribly. They are my TOTGA K-pop group. If they ever make a comeback as a group, I would definitely cry for weeks

You are right about not understanding why a group like this disbanded... Basically their company cheated on them with money & also mistreated them in so many horrible ways to the point they have to even go to court to settle. Before all that they were literally having sold out concerts all over the world from Europe to US. They even rocked MTV-K in NY (2013!) with so many fans waiting outside while they were performing 4 of their songs live + interview / fans Q&A. And that's way before BTS & other groups that were making Kpop more mainstream in the West.

Woah!!! Can't believe you are checking out the group that got me into kpop in like 2013 and only a few days after my my B.A.P album arrived. It's destiny! Now all you have to check out is Beast/Highlight and you'll have seen basically my top groups at least once on your channel. These guys were the real deal and they have a super special place in my heart. Truly devastating that their company was absolute trash and ruined it. No one was doing it like them when they hit the scene.

b.a.p. were very huge back then but they had to fight against their company's mistreatment. one shot was a big hit for them. i think they said recently that they could get back together in the future. id recommend rain sound and 1004 since theyre a different sound from what youve seen and if you want to see their soft sides then stop it and coffee shop are great too

Ahhh I love you so much, both MBLAQ and BAP???? Made my day fr. Angel is probably my favorite, mostly because of the second song they include in the MV lol (Save Me) but I adore the main 1004 song also. I can't wait to see what you think of that one, as well as Honeymoon :)

Basically T.S Entertainment screwed over B.A.P which is why they are not around today. When they debuted, B.A.P had as much popularity as BTS, however as their career went on and the company mistreated the members of B.A.P it led to a lawsuit. The lawsuit prevented them from releasing music for well over a year, which unfortunately killed some of their momentum in popularity. The first song they released back from the lawsuit was 1004 (angel) which was a song dedicated to their fans. Even though they won their lawsuit, the company continued to be awful towards B.A.P, overworking them and underpaying them for that work. The company ended up sending them on many world tours, which caused their Korean fanbase to dwindle. Ultimately, the group disbanded once their 7 year contract with T.S. entertainment was up and decided to go their separate ways. However, many of the members have released solo work since then. I've been to one of their concerts, and it's such a shame we don't have groups with this much talent and artistry anymore. B.A.P were genuine in their music and were not afraid to talk about topics commonly avoided in society, such as mental health with "wake me up".

I used to confuse between Bang Yongguk n Himchan's voices as both got the same deep n raspiness 😅 btw, Bang-Zelo got their own unit song, Never Give Up.. n of course, their main vocalists, Youngjae n Daehyun r solid too.. like did u hear those clear high note?? they're amazing.. btw, most of their songz r participated by Bang Yongguk.. btw, u should listen to Rain Sound, Honeymoon, n Angel 😇
idk why people aren't mentioning this because it's important when getting to know bap but himchan actually got sentenced to prison for sexual assault and abuse. i guess some people like to pretend that never happened. but other than that, the other members are still in contact and they post photos together from time to time, i miss bap and what they could'be been without the company mistreatment. they were actually one of the biggest groups back in the day 💚 sending love to you and thanks for reacting to them!
I am so much excited to see you back with more videos!!! And finding out that you are reviewing BAP it's so awesome. Unfortunately they were royally screwed over by their company. They were THE group at the time, great lyrics (Bang Yong Guk /rapper with the deep voice/ composed many of them), great dancers (Zelo/ rapper with the fastest rap in Warrior/ and Jong Up /the mastermind after everything in Skydive), and great vocals (Youngjae /guy with the scarf in Hands Up/ and Daehyun /the one with the high notes en Oneshot). Hinchan was difficult to determine because yeah he was good with the rapping and vocals. Yong Guk, Zelo, Jong Up, Daehyun and Youngjae had some solo releases as well (Youngjae is an actor now). I was really heartbroken with all the TS situation because they were a group I followed since their beginning and I was so proud of them for fighting TS and staying together until all of them were free. I really hope they can reunite because they are amazing artists. My recs would be: Coffee Shop Rain sound I remember (Bang Yong Guk ft Daehyun) Honeymoon (Their last MV) Dancing in the rain Unbreakable Goodbye Stop It Never Give Up (Bang Yong Guk and Zelo) Crash Badman During Skydive I never thought about it but when I saw it now I realized that the dance break being exactly during that scene was genius. OMG B.A.P.! You've done three of my bias groups now 😁🥰 Super Junior, Bigbang and now B.A.P. There's only Block B left. If you love rappers you need to do Block B as well 🙏 They have 3 rappers and one of them is Zico, who's literally one of the best rappers in Kpop. It's Daehyun doing the glorious high notes and Youngjae too. Later on Jongup became an excellent singer as well. Himchan has the second deep voice, not as deep as Yongguk (deep voice rapper) and of course there's Zelo (higher voice rapper). He was only a baby when they started. TS was the worst agency. They would do horrible things like working the members until they collapsed and then dragging them out of hospital to perform on stage. They hardly ever paid B.A.P., even though they earned millions. The boys waited until Zelo was 18 then they sued the company. Ultimately they had to make a deal and work the rest of their contracts, but they left TS as soon as they could. The members are all still in contact and may work together again at some point, but Himchan won't be with them. He has personal issues that have led to legal problems. For more variety in their music try 1004 (Angel), Stop It, Feel So Good, Coffee Shop, Rain Sound and That's My Jam. Yongguk has a well established solo career and most of the members have solos. They were fantastic on stage, so live performances are a must.

@@YCHTT I'm sorry, I've tried to get into Dreamcatcher, but I just don't connect with them. I don't dislike them in any way. I'm happy they're out there doing what they're doing, because individuality is good for Kpop. They have good concepts and their lightstick in the coffin shaped box is the coolest thing I've ever seen, but I just don't feel the connection to them or their music that I thought I might. It's just one of those things, I guess. Personal preferences are complex.
@@YCHTT I've only heard a few of their b-sides, but I generally check out their titles. The thing is, I have some favourites in Kpop, but I love a lot of groups and bands and solo artists from other genres and countries as well. I listen to a lot of music. If I don't find a connection to a group or an artist after listening to a number of their songs (generally around 10), then I don't do a deep dive on them, because almost all of the groups that have turned out to be my long time favourites are ones that I've had an instant connection with. There are probably only 3 groups that I've come back to a long time after first hearing them and that's Nirvana, 2NE1 and Sekai No Owari. My tastes are wide ranging, but also very specific. Just because I like one group, doesn't mean that I will automatically like a similar group. Or just because I like one artist from a genre doesn't mean I will listen to other artists from the same genre. It's just the way I am. Music is my happy place so I just listen to what pushes the right buttons for me. I don't mean any hate or disrespect and I'm not casting any aspersions on Dreamcatcher or any other artist, I'm just really specific in what I like. My Spotify Wrapped for last year even listed me as a specialist lol.

I've seen some of the other music videos and things like their Bang, Bang, Bang cover. A couple of the reactors I'm subscribed to are huge Dreamcatcher fans, so I've seen quite a lot of bits and pieces.
What I like about her is, she is not one of those just do reaction for views. She actually enjoys and willing to investigate more with each groups by having reaction with multiple songs.
B.A.P only consists of two rapper, one is the leader with deep voice, Yongguk and the other one is maknae with high-fast rap, Zelo. However, in this group actually all of them can rap and sing vocals no matter what positions they are. They are amazing beyond belief, especially with their consistently incredible live vocals and performances. You can start with their debut song, Chase Me, which debuted on Friday, the 13th, with a rock-inspired, horror theme! You can't find a group or label more bold than this... and then all title tracks, then B-sides. You will have a great series in your collection.

As you can see MVs is great but I won't stand a group that can't sing live! And B.A.P was one of those group that ace it! So sad they are with a bad label crap company...
Another group I would highly recommend is Dreamcatcher, they are like the female version of B.A.P but much more! And their company treats them very good unlike B.A.P ones...
I just know Zelo (hightone rapper) lives in YG's head rent free. He's one of those rare talents that YG missed out on, had he passed being a YG trainee he would've been in either WINNER or iKON.

Woah!!! Can't believe you are checking out the group that got me into kpop in like 2013 and only a few days after my my B.A.P album arrived. It's destiny! Now all you have to check out is Beast/Highlight and you'll have seen basically my top groups at least once on your channel. These guys were the real deal and they have a super special place in my heart. Truly devastating that their company was absolute trash and ruined it. No one was doing it like them when they hit the scene.
I agree what you said about B.A.P and I won't have been a Kpop fan if not because of them (I listened to Kpop before that but just casually). However, how you like B.A.P and sleep on Dreamcatcher... T_T Dreamcatcher is like the female version of B.A.P and more. These 2 groups drive me crazy like no other groups can... I mean Big Bang, 2NE1 & Mamamoo comes close (maybe followed by G-Idle, Everglow & BiBi), but still by a mile away xD

b.a.p. were very huge back then but they had to fight against their company's mistreatment. one shot was a big hit for them. i think they said recently that they could get back together in the future. id recommend rain sound and 1004 since theyre a different sound from what youve seen and if you want to see their soft sides then stop it and coffee shop are great too

I really loved your reaction videos specially the 2nd gen grps. BAP is one of a kind grp, I'm not a big fan but I do appreciates and impressed with their songs and music videos.

Basically T.S Entertainment screwed over B.A.P which is why they are not around today. When they debuted, B.A.P had as much popularity as BTS, however as their career went on and the company mistreated the members of B.A.P it led to a lawsuit. The lawsuit prevented them from releasing music for well over a year, which unfortunately killed some of their momentum in popularity. The first song they released back from the lawsuit was 1004 (angel) which was a song dedicated to their fans. Even though they won their lawsuit, the company continued to be awful towards B.A.P, overworking them and underpaying them for that work. The company ended up sending them on many world tours, which caused their Korean fanbase to dwindle. Ultimately, the group disbanded once their 7 year contract with T.S. entertainment was up and decided to go their separate ways. However, many of the members have released solo work since then. I've been to one of their concerts, and it's such a shame we don't have groups with this much talent and artistry anymore. B.A.P were genuine in their music and were not afraid to talk about topics commonly avoided in society, such as mental health with "wake me up".
I would say they were way more popular than BTS back then... MTV-K invited B.A.P to perform 4 songs + interview in New York & that was in 2013 with packed crowds waiting outside even... BTS got invited to Ellen 4 years after...

idk why people aren't mentioning this because it's important when getting to know bap but himchan actually got sentenced to prison for sexual assault and abuse. i guess some people like to pretend that never happened.
but other than that, the other members are still in contact and they post photos together from time to time, i miss bap and what they could'be been without the company mistreatment. they were actually one of the biggest groups back in the day 💚 sending love to you and thanks for reacting to them!
I am so much excited to see you back with more videos!!! And finding out that you are reviewing BAP it's so awesome. Unfortunately they were royally screwed over by their company. They were THE group at the time, great lyrics (Bang Yong Guk /rapper with the deep voice/ composed many of them), great dancers (Zelo/ rapper with the fastest rap in Warrior/ and Jong Up /the mastermind after everything in Skydive), and great vocals (Youngjae /guy with the scarf in Hands Up/ and Daehyun /the one with the high notes en Oneshot). Hinchan was difficult to determine because yeah he was good with the rapping and vocals.
Yong Guk, Zelo, Jong Up, Daehyun and Youngjae had some solo releases as well (Youngjae is an actor now).
I was really heartbroken with all the TS situation because they were a group I followed since their beginning and I was so proud of them for fighting TS and staying together until all of them were free. I really hope they can reunite because they are amazing artists.

OMG B.A.P.! You've done three of my bias groups now 😁🥰 Super Junior, Bigbang and now B.A.P. There's only Block B left. If you love rappers you need to do Block B as well 🙏 They have 3 rappers and one of them is Zico, who's literally one of the best rappers in Kpop.
It's Daehyun doing the glorious high notes and Youngjae too. Later on Jongup became an excellent singer as well. Himchan has the second deep voice, not as deep as Yongguk (deep voice rapper) and of course there's Zelo (higher voice rapper). He was only a baby when they started.
TS was the worst agency. They would do horrible things like working the members until they collapsed and then dragging them out of hospital to perform on stage. They hardly ever paid B.A.P., even though they earned millions. The boys waited until Zelo was 18 then they sued the company. Ultimately they had to make a deal and work the rest of their contracts, but they left TS as soon as they could. The members are all still in contact and may work together again at some point, but Himchan won't be with them. He has personal issues that have led to legal problems.
For more variety in their music try 1004 (Angel), Stop It, Feel So Good, Coffee Shop, Rain Sound and That's My Jam.
Yongguk has a well established solo career and most of the members have solos. They were fantastic on stage, so live performances are a must.

@@YCHTT I'm sorry, I've tried to get into Dreamcatcher, but I just don't connect with them. I don't dislike them in any way. I'm happy they're out there doing what they're doing, because individuality is good for Kpop. They have good concepts and their lightstick in the coffin shaped box is the coolest thing I've ever seen, but I just don't feel the connection to them or their music that I thought I might. It's just one of those things, I guess. Personal preferences are complex.

@@YCHTT I've only heard a few of their b-sides, but I generally check out their titles. The thing is, I have some favourites in Kpop, but I love a lot of groups and bands and solo artists from other genres and countries as well. I listen to a lot of music. If I don't find a connection to a group or an artist after listening to a number of their songs (generally around 10), then I don't do a deep dive on them, because almost all of the groups that have turned out to be my long time favourites are ones that I've had an instant connection with. There are probably only 3 groups that I've come back to a long time after first hearing them and that's Nirvana, 2NE1 and Sekai No Owari. My tastes are wide ranging, but also very specific. Just because I like one group, doesn't mean that I will automatically like a similar group. Or just because I like one artist from a genre doesn't mean I will listen to other artists from the same genre. It's just the way I am. Music is my happy place so I just listen to what pushes the right buttons for me. I don't mean any hate or disrespect and I'm not casting any aspersions on Dreamcatcher or any other artist, I'm just really specific in what I like. My Spotify Wrapped for last year even listed me as a specialist lol.

I've seen some of the other music videos and things like their Bang, Bang, Bang cover. A couple of the reactors I'm subscribed to are huge Dreamcatcher fans, so I've seen quite a lot of bits and pieces.

They are amazing beyond belief, especially with their consistently incredible live vocals and performances. You can start with their debut song, Chase Me, which debuted on Friday, the 13th, with a rock-inspired, horror theme! You can't find a group or label more bold than this... and then all title tracks, then B-sides. You will have a great series in your collection.
