    I bought myself an 03 Type S just a bit back, and I'm absolutely loving it. Par for the course on this model, I had to get some transmission work done, but it was definitely worth it.

      shhh, my 99 3.0 accord is on its 1st transmission, at 177k and it's at the end of it's life. Rest of the car is totally fine.

      He said that because the type s tl's in particular could shatter their transmission sitting still.

      @@texan903 they don't share a body panel. That's as far as you're going to get. The Accord platform has always been excellent, especially today.

    Honda shot themselves in the foot sticking with FWD for so long. They could’ve been faster but the technology limiting torque steering was not available for them to increase power. The new Civic type R is a marvel of FWD engineering limiting torque steer. If only they had it back then.

    Why was Honda always modest with their tq?

    • @catoilsalesman9158
      @catoilsalesman9158 Год назад +1

      Because it's front wheel drive and you'd get torque steer out the ass
