Opened in 1583, Bakken is the oldest Amusement Park in the world! Originally I wasn't planning on coming here this trip, I was lucky enough to visit it in 2014 as well, and since there weren't any new for me coasters and limited time, it just wasn't in the works for me.....but since Deka's flight was delayed for hours in Amsterdam, it gave me a bit of free time in the city...So I dropped my bags at the hotel and got a train to Klampenborg where I spent an hour or so walking around Bakken and taking a single ride in on Rutschebanen, celebrating its 90th season! I had also forgotten how creepy Pjerrot was to me, a clown that's been preforming at the park over 200 years!
While no new coasters had shown up in the 8 years since I'd been at the park, there were a handful of new flatrides, the KMG Spinout and Freak Out, as well the the Zamp NebulaZ but sadly the park lost its Moser Speed Flip, a favorite of mine. If I had had more time I would have gotten the ride pass and spent more time but it was nice to just visit the place again.
