Love watching this. I am a 72 year old lady from the US who loves British history. I enjoy all your visits to these historic homes and castles. Julie you have a lovely rapport with all the owners and ask all the right questions. Thank you so much ❤
I so do admire your work and dedication. My past life I had to have lived in such a Home. I’m so drawn to the History of all your videos. Thank you. I’m typing this right when the peacock was singing and it woke the cat 😂 who is now looking for it. Here in Salt Lake City Utah we have wild peacocks and turkeys. 😂. Keep up the great work ❤
I also really enjoy the music selections. They remind me of happy sitcoms from the 70s and 80s before everyone on tv screamed at each other all the time.
I love seeing a new episode pop up on my feed. As an American it is hard to comprehend walking around in working buildings going back to the 16th century and earlier. I love all the tales that your interviewees tell about the history. It so brings history to life and ties it to the present day.
I had the pleasure of visiting Scotland and Blair Castle. It was incredible. A lot of the stuff you’re showing on the show today I saw there and there’s just not words for it.
I live in Victoria, British Columbia and we have large areas of Douglas Fir that are a protected species of trees. I never knew the history of the name until now.
Julie, it was lovely to review all your travels. I am in Shasta Co. , California where is still in the 90's. Sitting on Saturday and watching all of these beautiful places give me a rest and excitement for new adventures.
Absolutely love this! I’m a country gal that lives simply but I have always loved the English and Scottish history and scenic places. The embroidery, castle and history are amazing! I thought you did great with fly fishing! 😊 Thanks for sharing the beautiful country! ❤
Do you think Julie I could knock on the door you came through and say I am the great-granddaughter of all the Stuarts and I saw Robert the Bruce at the end where I have stopped.... to think about these people are my people. Maybe I could get a room? LOL. Diane
Viscountess you bring the most amazing places and subjects to your channel. It is throughly enjoying and most refreshing to be able to join you on these historical journeys that have opened our eyes. Tell me your are currently a Viscountess, when the Viscount through his peerage becomes the next Earl of Sandwich do you both maintain the Viscount and Earl peerage? Thank you for another wonderful episode, take care and God Bless 🙏😇🏰🇬🇬
Scone Palace is FANTASTIC! My moms side of the family is Scottish (McIntyre), and I am an American. I added this to my list of places to visit in Great Britain. ❤❤
This meant to be only a kindly well-meaning reminder, that a crest is only the symbol above the shield. It is often in windows and furniture left out. So in those cases, there is no crest. Better is “ coat of arms” or even shortened to “arms” as in “ the Jones’ arms.
I think he could find a Blacksmith, could you see the youngsters eyes glued, first thing that comes my mind imagine and perhaps a Carpenter kids love this stuff pull families in 😊😊
Amazing that the Lord Chief Justice that they referenced only had an elementary school education, and yet greatly influenced commercial law in the British and U.S. governments. He must have been a brilliant person.
Wait is this reruns? I’m so confused it gets all mixed up and feels over saturated. Could we have an original aired date in the description? I think maybe if Julie wore a signature outfit on each visit it would be easier to differentiate. Julie is usually in jumpers or shades of white which all looks similar 😅❤🤷🏻♀️

This tour was fabulous for so many reasons. The one fundamental aspect that I love the most is the respect of history through preservation.
As a descendant of Scots I love watching history of Scotland. this video has been one of my all time favorites.
The first family seemed so so fun and down to earth!❤
I also really enjoy the music selections. They remind me of happy sitcoms from the 70s and 80s before everyone on tv screamed at each other all the time.

Sadly, this is a compilation of three fairly old episodes. Still, nice to have on in the background to refresh my knowledge of some bits of history.
Right? We just don't have that kind of history here! I'm just in awe everytime I watch an episode!
I want to thank her for taking the time doing this I enjoy this a lot

The next viscount is William, their eldest son, when the current viscount becomes early.

I sincerely hope that the trees continue to allow to regenerate.
So. I NEED to hug one of those fluffy cows ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. But the horns?! Oh my! Ouch.
Thinking of James and family!😊
Oh wow Julie, those highland ponies are beautiful!! Lovely strong legs!
I’m very proud of you Julie! Being in with the cattle! Well done❤

So Happy to see you getting closer to cows! You will conquer that fear yet!
What were allll those rooms used for?
Why can’t you mark these as reposted??? It isn’t a new video!

when you were told about Queen Victoria's entourage on her visit to Blair.. why didn't you ask where they all stayed?
Those cows' hoofs need to be trimmed, it looks like.
Whats the screeching in the background in the first part scoon? Is it the peacocks?
Yep, the peacocks were super screechy. They did a good job ignoring the peacock sounds.
Plse get another quacker.
I'm curious as to how you met your husband.
I like the content, but it is too long. I end up deleting the video after about an hour.
I think after an hour of Julie's enthusiasm I've had enough too.
Glad you enjoy some- I divide it up through the day. No need to air the negative. 🤗🙋♀️
