Very Nice. I had a 1760cc Mk2 with forest arches in the late 80's that I absolutely loved even though it was rusting away underneath. Used to give Sierra Cosworths a run for their money on the right road!

Just goes to show you that a old car with a decent engine and gear box with none of the crap our modern cars now come with can get done the road with less HP. That thing is quicker then my B8 Passat GT, Bet it it much more fun to drive too. Every time I see the Orange Focus if forget that it is a donor car for the mk 2 Escort custom build. Great series where we can see trash becoming gold. My dad had an Escort 1300GT when I was a kid, and it had rust already being only 6 or 7 years old, so I can understand how they manage to get the way yours was.

Great video mate. As far as raffling goes, I'd look into the legalities first. I was going to raffle my Triton bike but there is a law preventing it unless it's for charity purposes. May be worth checking it out. I could be wrong, but could save you some grief! Beautiful car, and a lot of us would love to own it.

The Mk1 RS always in my opinion looked the more muscle car of the range. If you were to raffle it I would by a hundred tickets. Looking forward to watching more. 👍🏿

I would love that car. I had a Mk2 4 door back in early 90s but always preferred the shape of the 2 door Mk1(especially with the forest arches). The gold minilites and the blue and white stripes are awesome. I'd personally remove the chin spoiler as I feel it doesn't need it but otherwise what a build.
I gotta draggy in the future if you ever wanna use it can have the 0-60 filmed and timing on screen at same time, i would say 100-200 kmph as well but i don't think you've got anything that does that ;)
