The memories. Being a young child watching fnaf easter eggs, finding out who Golden Freddy is, Seeing Nightmare for the first time and trying to know who he is in fnaf 4, talking about fnaf in school. Damn, somehow this indie horror game turned into nostalgia for most of us 2000s kids, this game really changed my life. I remember talking about it everyday in school with my friend who has sadly passed away. He was the one that introduced me to this amazing game series. Blue Represents and Stands for many Feelings, one of them being *Calmness,* blue is often referred to as a very calm and meditational colour. This Fan Theory alongside that Fact adds up *perfectly,* Bonnie is Blue, and Blue all over, so of course he might be the Tamest animatronic, if that's the case that would be bizarre considering Bonnie actually gave Scott Cawthon himself nightmares in the Making of FNAF.
I remember being so exited for fnaf 2 to come out. I miss being a kid again. But yet, i still find myself falling asleep when i put this on every night. It's that sense of nostalgia that gets me.

My personal theory was always that the animatronics (especially the main 4 and the circus) are their own entity fueled by what would come to be called remnants, separate from the souls of the children. Bonnie was there from the very start, Before the start actually. He has been through so much, poor thing. Hes so precious. This song, i don't know what it is but it creats a sense of comfort to me, like he's saying "Don't worry child. The pain doesn't last forever. It'll all be over soon." Foxy is overall my favorite character but i would say Bonnie is definitely a comfort charcter. I don't know where i was going with this comment, I just needed to rant a bit I guess.

This music makes me feel strange. It doesn't only make me remeber FNaF, but also my entire life. As a little child, I was weird, but happy. Some friends were bullying me, some people at school thought I was stupid, but I never took it that seriously. Optimism was my friend and so was the world. I didn't get mad when people were mean to me, but sad. Now I'm 13 and I feel like an edgy little shit, even though my edgy phase is over. I always wanted to help people and I was kind most of the time, now people just look down at each other and everything has to be rated good or bad. But hey, here in Germany, we have about 3:25 am right now, so I probably just got emotional. As long as I'm young, I can look forward to seeing me becoming a good person again and when I'm old, I can look back to my past self and be proud of myself. A few days after, you go to visit Freddy's before it shuts down, you look up at the Freddy animatronic, you feel a ghostly presence, as if it is your brother, you feel safe, comfortable, you hear his voice in your head "I'm still here." the voice says, you shed a tear as you realize what you have lost, although he was annoying, he filled a gap in your heart, you feel like a part of you is missing with your brother missing, before you leave you take one last long look at Freddy, and then walk out the door. Feeling empty inside, you climb into the car and shut the door, you can still hear the voice in your head "I'm still here, please help." the voice says. As you lie in bed, you think about what you saw that day, what you felt, you feel guilty about what happened, maybe if you came to the party, none of this would happen, but you made a mistake, you try to cry yourself to sleep, but the guilt keeps rising, you can't help but feel a sensation, a presence within you.
This song is incredibly powerful, and unlike many other games, this has such a deep backstory. This game makes you relive past memories that you didn't even know you had, and it releases such an eerie feeling that intensifies the fact that children were stuffed into suits for many, many years. This lullaby makes you severely deep into this whole timeline, and it is absolutely astonishing how this story all made sense in the end. Even bonnie looking at you through the screen makes you see through his eyes and feel the hatred the children felt while forcibly stuffed into these suits without any redemption at all. It just amazes me.

This game is gonna be 10 this year. Its almost surreal, this game was my entire childhood. Comforted me during hardships, got me fascinated with horror in the first place, and inspired me artistically. I probably wouldn't be the person I am without these games. It's insane that something as tiny as FNAF blew up into this huge thing and now almost everyone knows about it. Ive heard many versions of this Lullaby. The original music is happy full of hope. The one used in game is the feeling of sadness while still keeping a sense of hope. This one just feels like an inescapable emptiness.

bonnie has always been my favourite animatronic. I imagine despite him being the most aggressive animatronic, hes really quite nice around the others and the children that visit the pizzeria, ina sort of "beware the fury of a patient man" thpe of way. hes passive and melancholy, but when he sees the night guard he wants his revenge. truly an underrated member of this franchise.

After staring into Bonnie's eyes, for five minutes, it looked like his head began to move. It was slowly turning, and doing all sorts of movements. Then he went a little bit faster with them. It looked like he was in pain in my mind. Then I saw a vision of a crying child, then I thought back to the great days when it had just come out, but once everyone figured out their backstory, it was truly sad. People may say Bonnie is terrifying, but I say he just needs a friend.

Coming back to this, man what a childhood scott has started for all of us in 2014. The story, the lore, theories, FNAF really drags you into a world we did not know existed. For 9 years, this game series became a mark of a great horror game that snatched us with a firm grasp and got us addicted. From a 23 yr old re-watching old fnaf videos, it makes me thankful that i was alive to witness and play a game i will forever love and admire ❤

It’s really messed up when you realize that these poor little kids had to spend like 35+ years in a freaking robot. It must’ve been so uncomfortable for them. I’m playing this when I have a baby so they’ll be lulled to sleep by another child in a way, but they’ll never know. I’ve always fought with the idea in my head about having a child in the future but watching the way I interact with children versus people my own age makes me feel as if I belong in a nursery at midnight swaying my child to sleep while humming along to this song in a music box. I just think that infants are so fragile and so kind compared to the biased and hateful people I’ve come to know throughout my life, I never want my future child to go through that, so being with them and telling them about all the good in the world and taking the time to teach good and bad to them would not only help them but feel like therapy to me, yknow? I'm a university student in the career of educating kids from 0 to 6 in kindergartens, seeing this fills my heart. I have planned on playing these numbers of FNAF songs (the lullaby ones) to kids since the moment I heard about them. I love your idea of a child that is no longer with us playing music to other children and helping them find peace, at least at finding sleep. I'll think about it always when the times comes to introduce these songs to the kids I'll take care of.

from the start, bonnie has been my favourite animatronic. i don't know why, but he just has. the moment i started watching markiplier's series, i really liked bonnie. it was just something about him that i really liked. maybe it was his unusual color, which aroused my inner child. or maybe because he played guitar, i liked the guitar. i love this franchise, i love the lore. the story, the deep meanings and everything. but sometimes. i just wish things could go back to how they were. back in those simpler times, where everybody would ship all of the animatronics and focus on mangle's gender rather than try to dig up old evidence and secret eastereggs or hidden meanings behind certain colored text. i still love it. i will always love it. but i wish we could go back to being kids just for a moment. and appreciate the great memories we have made along the way. and not get insulted for making fan animations. or shipping the animatronics. or inserting our own oc in the story. i wish we could. i really do. i miss those times. but i will never forget what great memories we've made along the way. may god bless you, whoever you may be that is reading this.

such memories man, i wish i could go back to the old days where i was younger and all the lore was js popping up all around, im 17 (18 in a month) and ive liked fnaf since i was around 12/13 because, an old friend of mine (that isnt here anymore, may she rest in peace) introduced me to it and i was just so amazed, the community (most), the game, the ambience, the lore, its just one of the best games ive ever experienced being a part of, ive started playing all the fnaf games again recently because of the upcoming movie (that ill go watch straight up when it'll be released !) and damn, i just dont see anyone talking about it that much anywhere and it just hurts, the fact that all those years are far behind us, that scott had to retire which means the serie wont continue at least the same way it had before and just the fact i dont have a single friend left to talk about it with, my best friend was all i had and i couldnt thank her more for everything she did for me, making me discover this wonderful game and other ones too, i miss her so much... i just want to go back to being young and having my friend still here with me and be able to enjoy games as much as i did back then. thanks to everyone who maybe read my comment, i didnt really have enough words to explain everything i wanted to say because i started crying mid-comment which im kind of ashamed to say.

i started crying while listening to this, even though i didn't want to cry i was thinking of the time when fnaf 3 just got it's popularity, when me and my friends were just children, about how we were so interested in the game, but we were so immature we couldn't understand the real meaning of this, not as i do now. i really, REALLY want to go back in time and relive all these beautiful moments, but as a 14 y/o kid, who can truly enjoy the lore i don't want to wake up every darn day and go to school which doesn't give me the true happiness i want, no! i want to hang out with my closest friends under the bright sky and discuss fnaf stuff. i am so upset this won't happen again, i am mature and i have to forget about these childish things, but i won't, never will. i love fnaf 3 for it's beautiful soundtrack, and this melody is the deepest one for me, and i am very thankful for it, because i could recall all my favorite moments from my childhood.
This brings me back when I showed my brother fnaf 2. He was literally freaking out over it even though he had no idea what it was, I could say the same with me cause I didnt know much about the lore. After that he went into the biggest fnaf phase of all time. The part about this is the memories and how young we were. It was temporary though, I feel the same tho I just want to go back to the Times I first discovered fnaf with him.
Listening to this gives me chills, but it's also melancholic, being able to remember the hours and jumpscares I've had with this games. I can remember spending hours trying to solve a mystery and a puzzle excellently made to confuse anyone. Now years have passed and I don't regret this wonder of lore, I think that few games can be compared FNaF.Great job Scott, FNaF was a part of my childhood I will never forget.
Bonnie is one of my favorites. All he wanted just like the other animatronics wanted freedom. They didn't wanna hurt anyone. All they wanted was freedom but instead he was broken into shatters, and was used for parts. He was forgotten. All he wanted was for someone to love him and not break him. All along it wasn't Bonnie, it was the child. As I stared into his eyes while listening, and enduring his pain and sorrow, I only could have imagined him motionless, shattered and broke, wanting someone to comfort him and love him and be there for him like a true friend. I only imagined what his life would have been like if only he wasn't killed and broken, used for other parts, motionless. Sad ending.
If I were friends with the FNAF animatronics, I would hug them, and love them, even if they're scary. Nobody shouldn't be loved, or feel sad because they think they're not loved.

As the child bangs on the backdoor and cries out "Mom..someone please let me out" the melody plays. The child calms for a moment, only to be massacred by none other then *him.* as it's the only song he remembers years and years later before his life was taken away, his rusted body plays it over and over. He's stuck in that body. In endless pain. Forever.
Hearing this while playing in my singleplayer minecraft world was interesting. This music perfectly manages to capture the feeling of loneliness and emptiness of the game.
I listened to this on loop, and my hand legit froze, for no reason. It's 11:20 pm, and I shouldn't be up.. But here I am, listening to Shadow Bonnie's music box in 8D for 10 minutes... (Update: 5 min later, still frozen)
damn. I'm gonna miss Scott. all the good and bad memories I have of this series over the past 7 years is fun to look back on. this series is important to me for a number of reasons. I remember 7 year old me being scared of my closet after seeing fnaf 4, and now to look back on the the great memories I have for this series is amazing. thank you Scott for the memories.
Listening to this just, makes me remember how sad the Fnaf story is, kids just wanted to have fun, but they got betrayed by a man full of anger and hatred, once they killed that man, they had no idea what to do, they never got there happiest day.
This really does sound like the nostalgic memories from the spirit of a murdered child who is still too young to understand why they can't see their family again
I love this song. It has a feeling of mystery, but at the same time it’s a little relieving, I can’t really explain it (probably due to the original song being a serenade). But, as for the mysterious aspect of it, it definitely fits the theme of someone observing history, which is the role Shadow Bonnie takes in his mini game where this song plays while he travels across the other mini games while they take place. Observing history, in all it’s glory, he has a sort of omniscient presence to him. And while the history may not be pretty, especially given the context of Five Nights at Freddy’s, you can’t help but feel bittersweet about it. This leads me to often associate Shadow Bonnie with the player, seeing as we play a very similar role. We’re observers, we watch as the story takes place from an outside perspective, we, as players, serve as similar omniscient beings as we play these games. And while the lore of the game may say otherwise, the pieces are still there. This is the theme song of us, the players. Or it’s just a random song that plays during a mini game of a pixelated purple rabbit that Scott chose because it sounded mysterious…that could be it too. tl;dr: Shadow Bonnie bonnie represents the player as we experience the story of Five Nights at Freddy’s.
I've always though that of all the kids Afton initially killed; Chica was first to die, Bonnie went through the most pain before death, Foxy tried to run away, and Freddy had to watch all of them die.
this just brings me back to the joy and fear this franchise brought to all of us. and the not knowing what was coming next and even what the story was. sounds like an inescapable emptiness and one of the best franchises made probably ever. well done, scott.
This music makes me cry. All the memories with FNAF And Scott Cawthon we had. Talking about FNAF in school with friends. Playing FNAF with friends. Figuring out Easter Eggs. Getting scared. Those memories will be in our hearts forever.

Being a young child watching fnaf easter eggs, finding out who Golden Freddy is, Seeing Nightmare for the first time and trying to know who he is in fnaf 4, talking about fnaf in school. I remember talking about it everyday in school with my friend who has sadly passed away. He was the one that introduced me to this amazing game series. My personal theory was always that the animatronics (especially the main 4 and the circus) are their own entity fueled by what would come to be called remnants, separate from the souls of the children. This music makes me feel strange. It doesn't only make me remeber FNaF, but also my entire life. As a little child, I was weird, but happy. Some friends were bullying me, some people at school thought I was stupid, but I never took it that seriously. Optimism was my friend and so was the world. I didn't get mad when people were mean to me, but sad. Now I'm 13 and I feel like an edgy little shit, even though my edgy phase is over.
I always wanted to help people and I was kind most of the time, now people just look down at each other and everything has to be rated good or bad.
But hey, here in Germany, we have about 3:25 am right now, so I probably just got emotional. As long as I'm young, I can look forward to seeing me becoming a good person again and when I'm old, I can look back to my past self and be proud of myself.

This song is incredibly powerful, and unlike many other games, this has such a deep backstory. This game makes you relive past memories that you didn't even know you had, and it releases such an eerie feeling that intensifies the fact that children were stuffed into suits for many, many years. This lullaby makes you severely deep into this whole timeline, and it is absolutely astonishing how this story all made sense in the end. Even bonnie looking at you through the screen makes you see through his eyes and feel the hatred the children felt while forcibly stuffed into these suits without any redemption at all. It just amazes me.

This game is gonna be 10 this year. Its almost surreal, this game was my entire childhood. Comforted me during hardships, got me fascinated with horror in the first place, and inspired me artistically. I probably wouldn't be the person I am without these games. It's insane that something as tiny as FNAF blew up into this huge thing and now almost everyone knows about it. It's sad the new fans wont get to know the beauty that was the original games and fandom. It truly was something to remember.

bonnie has always been my favourite animatronic. I imagine despite him being the most aggressive animatronic, hes really quite nice around the others and the children that visit the pizzeria, ina sort of "beware the fury of a patient man" thpe of way. hes passive and melancholy, but when he sees the night guard he wants his revenge. truly an underrated member of this franchise.

After staring into Bonnie's eyes, for five minutes, it looked like his head began to move. It was slowly turning, and doing all sorts of movements. Then he went a little bit faster with them. It looked like he was in pain in my mind. Then I saw a vision of a crying child, then I thought back to the great days when it had just come out, but once everyone figured out their backstory, it was truly sad.
People may say Bonnie is terrifying, but I say he just needs a friend.

Coming back to this, man what a childhood scott has started for all of us in 2014. The story, the lore, theories, FNAF really drags you into a world we did not know existed. For 9 years, this game series became a mark of a great horror game that snatched us with a firm grasp and got us addicted. From a 23 yr old re-watching old fnaf videos, it makes me thankful that i was alive to witness and play a game i will forever love and admire ❤
After a couple of minutes past, I was still looking to Bonnie's face while listening to this beautiful lullaby. His face doesn't look scary anymore.
I started to focus on his eyes.

I’m playing this when I have a baby so they’ll be lulled to sleep by another child in a way, but they’ll never know. I’ve always fought with the idea in my head about having a child in the future but watching the way I interact with children versus people my own age makes me feel as if I belong in a nursery at midnight swaying my child to sleep while humming along to this song in a music box.
I just think that infants are so fragile and so kind compared to the biased and hateful people I’ve come to know throughout my life, I never want my future child to go through that, so being with them and telling them about all the good in the world and taking the time to teach good and bad to them would not only help them but feel like therapy to me, yknow?

I'm a university student in the career of educating kids from 0 to 6 in kindergartens, seeing this fills my heart. I have planned on playing these numbers of FNAF songs (the lullaby ones) to kids since the moment I heard about them. I love your idea of a child that is no longer with us playing music to other children and helping them find peace, at least at finding sleep. I'll think about it always when the times comes to introduce these songs to the kids I'll take care of.

such memories man, i wish i could go back to the old days where i was younger and all the lore was js popping up all around, im 17 (18 in a month) and ive liked fnaf since i was around 12/13 because, an old friend of mine (that isnt here anymore, may she rest in peace) introduced me to it and i was just so amazed, the community (most), the game, the ambience, the lore, its just one of the best games ive ever experienced being a part of, ive started playing all the fnaf games again recently because of the upcoming movie (that ill go watch straight up when it'll be released !) and damn, i just dont see anyone talking about it that much anywhere and it just hurts, the fact that all those years are far behind us, that scott had to retire which means the serie wont continue at least the same way it had before and just the fact i dont have a single friend left to talk about it with, my best friend was all i had and i couldnt thank her more for everything she did for me, making me discover this wonderful game and other ones too, i miss her so much... i just want to go back to being young and having my friend still here with me and be able to enjoy games as much as i did back then.

i was thinking of the time when fnaf 3 just got it's popularity, when me and my friends were just children, about how we were so interested in the game, but we were so immature we couldn't understand the real meaning of this, not as i do now.

This brings me back when I showed my brother fnaf 2. He was literally freaking out over it even though he had no idea what it was, I could say the same with me cause I didnt know much about the lore. After that he went into the biggest fnaf phase of all time. The part about this is the memories and how young we were. It was temporary though, I feel the same tho I just want to go back to the Times I first discovered fnaf with him.

Bonnie is one of my favorites. All he wanted just like the other animatronics wanted freedom. They didn't wanna hurt anyone. All they wanted was freedom but instead he was broken into shatters, and was used for parts. He was forgotten. All he wanted was for someone to love him and not break him. All along it wasn't Bonnie, it was the child. As I stared into his eyes while listening, and enduring his pain and sorrow, I only could have imagined him motionless, shattered and broke, wanting someone to comfort him and love him and be there for him like a true friend. I only imagined what his life would have been like if only he wasn't killed and broken, used for other parts, motionless. Sad ending.
If I were friends with the FNAF animatronics, I would hug them, and love them, even if they're scary. Nobody shouldn't be loved, or feel sad because they think they're not loved.

I love this song. It has a feeling of mystery, but at the same time it’s a little relieving, I can’t really explain it (probably due to the original song being a serenade). But, as for the mysterious aspect of it, it definitely fits the theme of someone observing history, which is the role Shadow Bonnie takes in his mini game where this song plays while he travels across the other mini games while they take place. Observing history, in all it’s glory, he has a sort of omniscient presence to him. And while the history may not be pretty, especially given the context of Five Nights at Freddy’s, you can’t help but feel bittersweet about it. This leads me to often associate Shadow Bonnie with the player, seeing as we play a very similar role. We’re observers, we watch as the story takes place from an outside perspective, we, as players, serve as similar omniscient beings as we play these games. And while the lore of the game may say otherwise, the pieces are still there. This is the theme song of us, the players. Or it’s just a random song that plays during a mini game of a pixelated purple rabbit that Scott chose because it sounded mysterious…that could be it too.
tl;dr: Shadow Bonnie bonnie represents the player as we experience the story of Five Nights at Freddy’s.

I've always though that of all the kids Afton initially killed; Chica was first to die, Bonnie went through the most pain before death, Foxy tried to run away, and Freddy had to watch all of them die.
