Worked a treat for me, and there i was thinking ugh they probably have this in place so you have to take it to the dealer. I had a Ducati that insisted the dealer tool was needed. So i really wasn't expecting to find a DIY. Thank you !
good video. many thanks. I had another for my super tech HPE 2022. I replaced the TFT dashboard because of inner screen melted. Under factory warranty, the new dashboard works well, but the previous mileage can not be synced with ECU automatically. Now the actual mileage is different with dashboard. that is issue for dashboard remind me do the service as per mileage. Is there any setting can do the mileage setting accordingly. I asked the local dealer shop for help, but the feedback was they didn't know neither. thanks.
Unfortunately, there is no way to advance the odometer because somebody could do nefarious things if they had access to change the mileage on a vehicle. You just have to remember where you were at and then do the math in your head. Good luck!
Thanks for watching and we’re happy to help. Elettrica should be the same as the Prima/Sprint Sport. Primavera/Sprint Sport -Turn the key on -Slide the mode button to the right to get to the battery status -Press and hold the mode button for half a second -Press and hold the mode button for 2 seconds -Slide the mode button to the right and hold for 10 seconds (not more than 15) -The light should have gone out and will reset the counter
It’s hard to say since they just came out a couple years ago. Mine has 10k miles on it so far with no issues. The prior generation engine could take a lot of use - highest miles we’ve seen is 80K on a GTS and it’s had no major issues or rebuild. Just keeps up on his maintenance.
@vespaportland do you have any ideas for if the TFT display won’t come on? I thought it was a dead battery, but when that was replaced there’s an alarm that beeps when i turn the key to the on position. no TFT display showing but the horn works. thanks in advance.
What doesn’t work? Pretty much every tech styled Vespa has the same features. It’s just navigating to them that changes a touch. The GTV has a mode button as well and I believe it has the same left and right function to change different things on the dashboard. However, that scooter does not have traction control like the GTS does.

From what I’ve read it’s supposed to blink when oil change is approaching(my gts300 has 2450 miles since its last service) then when it turns solid it means it’s ready for its service.
Correct. Once it’s on solid you get the service or do it yourself and then you reset the wrench icon which starts the timer over for your next service.
@@VespaPortland thanks for replying I can’t find anything on it not even on the manual. so it doesn’t blink before it turns solid to indicate that service is coming up like other vespas do cause mine just went straight to solid on my 2024 300 super sport. Also I’m still 500 miles away from my next service date. Could it have came sooner because I ride fast and on the highway allot or is it based on miles or time?

Thank you, Andrew! This video required one less call to your shop!
You’re welcome! Although it’s never bummer when you come by!
Demo completed by Vespa Portland’s version of Scooter West’s Robot, great vid.
😂
I really appreciate your posts- they are so very helpful and you are so very appreciated!! Thanks!
Hey, thank you! Someday I'll stop being lazy and make more vids.
I did this yesterday on my Supertech but only held the mode button once for 11 seconds. It worked fine. No need to push 3 times anymore.
Good tip. We’ll try that next time.
Absolutely perfect. Great content and thanks!

You guys in Portland are my go for all things Vespa
How do you do a reset for a 2021 Vespa Elettrica?
Thanks for watching and we’re happy to help. Elettrica should be the same as the Prima/Sprint Sport.
Primavera/Sprint Sport
-Turn the key on
-Slide the mode button to the right to get to the battery status
-Press and hold the mode button for half a second
-Press and hold the mode button for 2 seconds
-Slide the mode button to the right and hold for 10 seconds (not more than 15)

How long can these gts300 with the hpe motor last? With proper maintenance?
It’s hard to say since they just came out a couple years ago. Mine has 10k miles on it so far with no issues. The prior generation engine could take a lot of use - highest miles we’ve seen is 80K on a GTS and it’s had no major issues or rebuild. Just keeps up on his maintenance.

Yikes! Can’t diagnose that over the internet but get it your local dealer ASAP. Hope you’re still under warranty. Good luck.
Saluti dalla Italia la Vespa è meravigliosa e io ne posseggo una VESPA 250 GTS va benissimo ma vorrei comprare hi tech
What is the average fuel consumption of gts 300 hpe supertech in km/l?
I don’t know KM/L but my gas light comes on at about 110-120 miles. The tank is 2.2 gallons so there’s typically a half gallon left at that time.
@@VespaPortland - 1.6 is the conversion factor
I'm getting around 30km/l in mostly 60kmh speed zones with some 70 and 80kmh. I get approx 210km per tank fill
@@VespaPortland
1 mile=1.6 kilometer
1 gallon=3.78 liter
So,
115×1.6÷(1.7×3.78)=28.63 Kilometer per liter
Is this the same on the new GTV 300? Or is there a video for that too?
GTV has a different dashboard than the GTS but generally the same function. No video yet but great idea for a future video we can do. Thanks!

@@VespaPortland Thank so much! Do I use the Mode button on the right control on handle bar or the Mode button on the neck of the steering column?
@carlosbedolla3878 Oh man. I forgot that there’s two. I think the handlebar.
How to do the same on vespa 300 Gts 2019 with the classic needle counter ?
There shouldn’t be a wrench icon on that model.
Does anyone know if this is the same with a 2020 primavera s 125?
See the description of the video. The primaveras and sprint sports need to have the mode button slid to the right on one of the steps.
Do you know for medley 2021?
Sorry, we don’t have that scooter in the US market.
Hello sir how about on gtv2024?
When one comes in I’ll do a video on it. Thanks for watching!
what's the point of not being able to reset it while flashing
It’s a warning that your service is almost due. If you can cancel it before it’s due, chances are you’ll forget to have the service done.
@@VespaPortland I am talking about the time when you've already serviced it and it's still flashing. That's just stupid
Yeah agreed but that’s the process they came up with. Gotta wait!
Do not ever try and understand Italian logic. All their bikes and cars have bizarre quirks as such.
