- In this video, I'll show you how to clean up the corrosion on your (AA or AAA) battery terminals. That blue stuff is very hard to be removed even with a metal wire brush. I will also talk about the chemical reaction process behind this.
Awesome video. Saved me money just tonight. Eureka! It works again!
awesome video mate, highly appreciated the explanation in the end as I learned something new as well! :)
The chemistry part is great!
What should be used to clean up zinc-carbon leaks on terminals, since vinegar can't be used?
Thanks i enjoyed the extra chemistry info i was worried if the blue copper salt was very toxic or not
So what do we use to remove deposits of copper chloride ? What should we use?
Brilliant, loved the explanation.
Excellent job! Thank you!
How to clean Zinc Carbon battery corrosion?
Brilliant. Thanks for this
Good explanation buddy
Awesome video!
Very useful advice - thank you
Baking soda mixed in water helps me clean the zinc stuff.
Thank you, brother.
What about rust not blue thing on metal tab? How to remove it?? It’s completely rusted plz give a tip to restore or if not change the panel from battery compartment. Thnx
You can also just wash away the vinegar residue, no?
Yes, you can use tap water to wash away the vinegar. Tap water is slightly basic so it would be fine to use to neutralize the acid. Baking soda is better if you have it available.
Many thanks. 👍😷🇬🇧
I almost clicked off. So glad I didn't! Excellent.
Thanks again.
How do you stop it from coming back?
Little late, but the real answer is not to use devices for power cell storage. Take the power cells out when not using a device regularly. Yes, this seems annoying and can be hard to remember, but it works every time. All power cells and batteries fail eventually, and it's better if they don't take a more expensive device with them.
interesting video. I like your accent =)
How do I clean off the same stuff on the spring end where the battery goes
