Upgrades to abilities will only show after Rank 3 and you can pick a second after rank 6. Once you have an eligible spell an upgrade will *always* show up. Also, you cannot get 3 upgrades for your orbs. You got the Inner Ring upgrade and the elliptical upgrade, you would not have been able to get electrified orbs.
I have learned a lot from posting this video. I skimmed the patch notes from the months I didn’t play but apparently missed a bit. Thanks for pointing this out!
I'm pretty sure the morning star and flying rings also count as summons, so those abilities would make an interesting variation on top of the astronomer's orbs. The morning star is almost broken it's so OP.
It's a fun build based off summons. I'd suggest the Shepards Amulet for summon damage/regen. Regen is based on how many summons you have. If you want crazy regen try Cleric/summoner build On top of adding Clerics debuffs on hits. A big insane boost to summon damage though, is the summons trait adding elements to their attacks Fire/Ice/Lighting. I save all three, (I like to double them also Doesn't really stack but creates two separates' chances to add stacks. Not sure if that's exactly how it works, it just appears on the character sheet that way. Elemental Stacks add up super fast. Frost does AOE damage, after 20 stacks. Electrify does 100 damage per tick. Fire tends to be my least damage but it just looks cool and it's extra DPS. Regardless though orbs with those 3 elements traits on any build. Just destroys enemies. I don't care which traits I pick for orbs, just make sure snag up the 1+ orb for extra stacking potential.
Thanks for a lot of great tips! I'm almost embarrassed at this build after having experimented more over the last few days. I do need to try some status effect and elemental effects builds soon.
Don't be embarrassed. I never knew Orbs were considered Summons. I never liked that ability until I watched your video mate. Then the idea's came flooding in. Now it's hard for me to pass it up anytime I play.@@PusenGaming
You sound a bit like Greirat from DS3. Also would I be correct to assume the build system here falls victim to a select few cookie-cutter builds in the same way as POE? Always hated how only a few builds were end-game viable.
You can only get skill upgrades if the skill ist at least rank 3, and rank 6 for the 2nd uprgrade. so you wasted your reroll potions and gave wrong informations to others. Also main weapon damage does nothing for this build, these potions are better used for rank 3,6 and 10 skill upgrades. also dont pick health upgrades. It's true that summoner with Astronomers Orb is hilariously OP, but the specific build you show is complete trash.
As I mention in the video this build is only about getting as many summons as possible and not about creating the strongest possible build. Thanks for pointing out about the skill upgrades though. I didn't know that.

Not at all. I’ve been able to make builds around pretty much all abilities and classes.
Sick build brotherman
Thank.
why is your text looking so crisp?mine looks more...old school
There's a setting to pixelate UI fonts so I'm guessing you have that turned on.
@@PusenGaming im blind thanks
oh hey. new stats, force. and potions... wow.
Yes! The initial update that added force was rather mediocre in my opinion but they’ve improved it a lot.
