It picks up everything and it stores that data just in case in the future a person does come up as a repo then the information is already in the system. I didn't know that's how it all worked until I rode with him and I was blown away. It is not a job for the weak I promise you. You have to separate feelings from the job especially ones where there is contact with the owner. 80% of the time you don't even see the person you're just grabbing the car. One time we drove through a Meijer parking lot. For those of you not from the six states that have a Meijer it's a grocery store. We went up and down the aisles and a car hit. He called it in to his agency and once it is confirmed he can then grab the car. Once the car is grabbed hell pull off down the road and contact the Police department wherever he may be and let them know because most think their car was stolen before they realized it's the repo guy. My point is. Hooking that car that day. I just had this thought in the back of my mind of a single mother of 2 maybe 3 just barely getting by maybe fell behind And is grocery shopping and comes out and the car is gone. That's the hard part. I tell him all the time to upload shorts and videos but He says one day he will upload footage and I have seen shootings and s*** that would blow your mind. They've already been to court. They probably didn't show up for that.
An unpaid invoice is proof enough. The British people are such unresponsible people when it comes to money and love blaming the government for it.
You mean the citizens who had their case escalated to high court? Their case has already been through the system with them having a chance to dispute it and the court system has ruled against them. Even after the money has been deposited they STILL have a chance to have it returned if proven innocent due to new information.
In short: You're talking nonsense.
Silly point to make.
They've already been adjudged guilty by the high court.
You might want to try thinking before commenting.
@@winksongs The government has no proof that car belongs to the person who has been found guilty and they are making a completely innocent third party prove they own their own car. I'm not saying the person who has been found guilty shouldn't have to pay up, I'm saying, at least in the United States, the government always have the burden of proof. In the UK the police randomly boot some lady's car and then require her to prove she owns it. In the US the police would not be allowed to seize that car except after proving to a judge that it in fact belongs to the defendant.
30:32 the way he keeps his mouth open after he's done speaking is not okay.
😂
There is a fellow in my small town walks around with his lower jaw open like a barn door with yellow teeth and green stuff growing next to his gums.😮
Agents are dumb for not keeping an eye on the couple, letting them get away.
20:30 dude says he bought the car ... the agent says since the debtor is on the insurance - the car can be removed ::: that's ridiculous .... so if a trucking company has employees on it's insurance --- bailiffs can remove a vehicle - just because an employee who's a debtor .... makes no sense
"It's on to the next case. The bailiffs are coming to call on a debt. But if they can't pay, assets will be confiscated."
If I was doing that job I’d have Vinnie Jones with me lol. They’d be bang in trouble lol
Pay your debts!!!!!
woman : 1 house, 2 almost brand new car, 1 suv, not that expensive, and a van, extremely expensive some can be even more expensive then a sport or luxury car, cant pay 2500......
amazeball
22:50 CEO of the construction company :3 Look at him, he can't pay.
He's very angry about it too!
This is so funny, to say they will seize the X girl stuff for your debt.. lol.. I would be on the phone laughing the whole time, saying "Take all my X stuff, and let me come over and watch". I'll take a taxi... lol
His insurance indicated he still drove it.
Our Romanian Virgil is good at conversations in special with other Romanians
If she sold the car the day before then she should have money from the sale of the car to pay her debt.
Can fly to dubai but cant pay 2k? Suspect
My thought exactly.
Why cant she pay her debtor but can buy tickets to Dubai...
UAE doesn't have any formal extradition treaties with other countries.
Computers full of personal records and personal info on potential thousands of people and just gonna auction them off lol. I wonder why identity theft is so rampant 😂
One has to wonder why creditors extended money to some of these people in the first place.
Do you not understand how easy it is for people to somehow lose a job and within under 3 months go from a great credit history to literally having no ability to pay? Often outside of people’s direct control - terrible job market etc.
@@mattyp6908Yet they have assets they can sell or, in many cases, more than enough to pay but simply aren't willing to pay.
Have you watched the videos? Most people don't fall into your ' poor me ' category.
In US people are concerned about bad credit history affecting interest rate charged or preventing home purchase, don't know about UK.
And the lesson is.........keep your car in your garage!
It's all good, they'll just go grab it at work..Oh yeah, ya don't have a job huh? 🤔
Or have it still on a finance plan.
@@TheTruth-dy8ze that's why they're getting repo'd 😆
@@drifterdan1194 Missing payments on a payment plan is the catalyst for repossession. Others are parking tickets or unauthorized parking.

🤔Neither a borrower nor a lender be. They'd rather owe you than pay you
Try this in the states lol 🔫
I'm curious though. If they take property and sell it what happens to the extra? Like take a 15,000 car for a 4,000 debt and they get 9,000 at auction
The extra goes back to the debtor, but keep in mind when items are auctioned they sell for much less than market.
Pretty hard to drive a car off of an underlift! Especially if the front is up almost up against a garage door.
The UK has been having businesses close before covid.
The land is always more valuable than the house. Everyone needs to pay their living expenses.
Good luck collecting from the lady who lives in Canada lol
So if they take the car but they still owe on the car, what happens when the don't make the payments on it? Doesn't the bank hold the title on the car?
In previous episodes they haven't taken financed cars so I assume thats standard practice
Is Kacey a transplant from the US? She sounds very American. 😊
For the ones who got into another car and evaded, Just have a locksmith come and put locks on their home everywhere...With the writ you have, this should be an available incentive...
Strangest thing about this series is the narrator's voice. I wonder who decided to book him - and why.
yup, same.. he sounds like he is drunk af
He's a fairly well-known actor. What's strange about his voice?
@@EricaGamet It just doesn't fit there, his tone of voice would work maybe in fairy tale or fantasy, not in bailiffs video.... just saying
@@iNubpwn3r Ah, got it! I can see that... or, um, hear that!
As an American, I can't help but think what a dangerous job this would be if it were a thing here. Come into someone's home without consent, door open or not? Never! You would likely get shot and the homeowner would be well within their rights to shoot you.
We do have repo-men still. They play a similar game.
@@xWoznyx Yes, but they don't come into your home, at least not without law enforcement backup
Who pays the ballast salary or is it added to the debt?
In the UK, I believe bailiff's fees are added to the debt. Cheaper to just pay your debts.
23:00 What's that language?
someone should help out
If all debt can be sized for what's the point of collateralizing debt vs not?
Collateralized means the lender doesn't have to go to court & get a judgment.
In the usa , there is a statute of limitations on collecting a debt.
The UK has got to be the easiest country to get over on the system. First lesson learned here: Indebted immigrants are schooled in changing the name of the company they are trading under every time they want to scam a creditor. Second, the number of rent scams is intolerable. I can't understand why landlords even rent out property in this stupid country. Third, the number of immigrant and illegal migrant debtors should be held up as proof these people are a scourge on the UK.
Scourge in the USA as well.
There's people need a little peakey blinders justice.
In America, if you owe a company, it's a write-off for taxes.
Uh? no. They still very much pursue you.
I still dnt understand why people don't make debt payment...if you don't have money just ask for settlement..it is just simple
We have nothing like this in usa
Get clapped in a second trying this crap in USA and even Canada too. 😂 😅 🤣 this is exactly why you never surrender your firearms ever!
We need this! Too many leaches not paying their bills and child support.
You'll end up in court and then jail. It's not the wild west, what a crazy comment.
@@xyz12345457 It's the same here, the difference is that they are in these properties because they have the right papers. In your USA no one can get in your property, not unless the police have the right papers e.i warranty.
These people aren't trespassing, they were sent to these properties by the court. So the same applies in your USA and here, these exceptions are also similar because the right papers overrule whatever law you are talking about.
Not if they have a court order to be their. As people in this show have

She's good at her job and fun at work... sorry you're dead inside.
So Hannibal is collecting debts in UK these days, huh?
Hi there, here Italy. I am a former cop and I think you should be at least three of you doing this job and unfortunately no woman.
Idk, that woman Casey looks pretty tough lol
I always love the banter between the baldies😅
These people have to be on commission....

So they are taking things from a business. But they don't know if said laptop belongs to a worker. They can't just take whatever they want. They have to make sure it belongs to the business.

The way it works, and I don't really agree with it, is after they take property it sits for about 14 days and in that time you can provide them proof that it's owned by someone other than the debtor. If you can provide that proof they are required to give it back. Otherwise it goes to auction.
If I moved to Canada and some melt was calling me about 5 grand, I'd laugh and tell them to go whistle.
What're they gonna do? Take their high court writ all the way to Canada?
Yes, the UK and Canada have a very close relationship, Canadian law enforcement would have no problem complying m
We need these rules in canada

So in the UK you have to confront or try to receive the money on the spot before taking the car? Lol my best friend is a repo guy here in Detroit. We just yank them. I say we cause I ride with him all the times. It's a hell of an adrenaline rush and it's not something I think I could do but that's just me.
We hit blocks, grocery stores, parking lots, bars, hotels, motels we hit everything. The cameras scan both sides of the streets. Traffic coming towards you traffic next to you it doesn't matter it's collecting and going into a database. It will Pick up a plate in the front or back doesn't matter. The repo truck has cameras all around it. If a vehicle hits he has a special tone on the lap top from Dave Chappelle that says GOTCH YA BITCH 😂.
Just remember if you're in the United States. It doesn't matter if you're up for repo or not your plate 9 times out of 10 is in the system just from a repo truck passing you on the road.
One dude was sleeping in his car one day. He scooped it up. Starting driving away pulled onto 7 mile and all of a sudden you just hear the horn. We thought it was alarm. There was a dude sleeping in the back. He instantly dropped the vehicle. Because technically he could have got in trouble for not getting out and checking the vin etc ... Biggest comment I ever wrote 😂😂😂
I see a RUclips series here!
Who leaves blood samples out in the open, as a business that's not right, is it?!
Does the Enfield Ghost , have debt . I’m not going !
Meanwhile in the USA thee police don’t have this power and side with squatters like they did today on a 1.2 mil house that was grabbed by squatters and the police arrested the rightful owner.
Chase them in Canadá? Is that a joke?😅
I have been binge watching this show, It seems most of the people are foreigners, not british, what is that about
"they still have mortgage to pay"
Why would a tenant paying rent also have to pay a mortgage?
I think they were referring to the landlord being out the rent money, plus having to pay the mortgage on the rental property. Took me a second too, 😆
Clamp the wheel?....hahaha you english are so prim and proper.....in america...you would find your clamp and wheel sitting in drive...but car gone..hahaha
I've watched episodes in America and only once did I see an idiot actually trying to drive the car with the clamp on. The fact you smear Americans with your idiotic idea that it's easy to get a clamp off and off they go down the street is asinine.
And then said car owner would be facing more charges. It’s illegal to remove the clamp
You wouldn’t be removing the clamp, just the tire lol
How do collectors get paid ? A percentage of the money's gained,??
These aren't debt collectors. They're bailiffs, officers of the court. The court issues a writ to collect on the judgement, and the bailiffs carry out the court's order.
19:03 these guys wont give any personal information to anyone else about the people they are looking to chat with or even to a spouse about it but they are sooo ok with other people give it out personal information if it helps them. lol, tools

Wow, I don't like this at all. When my husband and I were young we went to buy a car. We decided we couldn't afford a new car but he said come into my office. Let's talk. He talked us into buying it. Told us how to save more money. Added up our cigarettes per month. Said make your own coffee instead of buying it. Etc. Sounded real good. But 2 months later we detailed it real clean and shiny and brought it back. 10 years later they called me and said I owed 10,000 plus interest. Good thing we didn't put up our house or something.
Assuming you live in a society where there are protections against predatory lending and education about credit in school, I support these dudes. Most of these people simply look like deadbeats; I imagine they don't film the other people though.
14:41 bailiff telling the tenants to call the debtor --- I'd tell the bailiff """ it's not my job to call the debtor"""
What language was Virgil speaking?
edit - I see he was a Romanian police officer so I'll assume Romanian hah
I'm glad I live in America 😂 when someone here in America miss a payment on something say a car. The finance company either doesn't want the car anymore it will just mess up their credit and they won't get the title to the vehicle. They don't come and start taking things from people property to make up that to dept and vice versa say a couch they come at that couch and that's it and not take anything else. This is harsh
i don't understand why you would be glad for that... as that only makes sense if you plan on reneging on your debt... if thats not the case... then you should want this system so that when you get screwed over, you can get your money back...
Who IS THIS NARRATOR SOUNDS LIKE DREAM (SANDMAN), YES
