@@daibach999 im in cornwall, brought up in mini plant circa 80’s early 90’s, Most of my seat time has been yard use n abuse, diggers n handlers to remove engines, straighten n bend things, did use a 13t jcb n 5tine in a scrapyard for a bit, got passable with that, put a chain on im alrite, trench n grading not so much😂👍👍
@@sharkeyist love Cornwall and hope to visit again one day when all this blows over. So you have done a few things then. Always good trying different things. We had a base down south when I lived in the UK. Was down their quite a bit also worked on the MV Napoli on the South Coast. Good times 🤙
@@daibach999 yeah give it a bit, were rammed full of staycationers n campers atm!😎 yeah done lots over the years, i believe i pdi’d a couple quads for the napoli clear up, 👍
@@sharkeyist spent a lot of time down South on the beaches and loved it. Was a messy job but one of the best. Funny thing is it was another ship disaster that brought me to NZ and ended up staying. This place is the best 👌
I wouldn't mind seeing how those little tractor units connect or disconnect themselves from trailers without leaving the drivers seat, great video as usual mate
Hi and good comment and yes will do something like this. Lots of people hate the normal speed cos it gets a bit boring. Will do some clips in the future thanks 🤙
on average how many trucks are unloaded per hour with a crane? Here in Rio Grande Brazil we started loading logs with Liebherr cranes. Your channel is really cool congratulations
An exact figure I'm not too sure of as all we do is pile them on but around 20 lifts per hour, Lifts vary in lengths 2.9m to 12m also the weight differs in winter to summer dry and wet weight. What cranes do you operate in Brazil? Send some photos, be interesting to see your operation. Thanks for the comment too.
Hello and the visibility is not to bad in the holds, see maybe half the floor away depending on the size of the boat and how deep the wings are but not to bad. We prefer in the square or on deck where we can see much better 😜🤙
👍 I could watch this all day, good operators are good watching, 👍🇬🇧👍
Thanks for the comment, do you operate any machine ? and where are you in UK ??

Awesome video, love to see a in cab real time video of the diggers working. Doesn’t look like any time to spare.
Been trying to get more footage from the diggers point of veiw and no they have no time to rest those heavs are thick and fast. Thanks for the comment

Let me see what I can do watch this space 😜🤙
Terry I’ve looked into it and all it is is a air operated pin on the 5th wheel that’s all as the trailers have no brakes at all. Just pick up and go 🤙
@@daibach999 thanks for that mate, looking forward to more videos, cheers
Amazing, u guys are awesome operators 🤙
Cool thanks for that. We all have our own individual skills and come together just for work. Plus we all get on well so that helps 😜
Good angles on that one Dai, great job
New angles are always good to find. Need to find heaps more
How about one of these in full straight from the operators cabin. Maybe even some normal speed clips with just the sounds of the cranes running!

@@daibach999 Well at least in logging, I guess there's a bit of waiting involved from time to time, you could cut that out pretty easily, cheers mate✌

Hey my bro, whats visibility like up in the m.h.c? Especially starting a boat from the floor?

So were you doing this in the uk
Not in the uk we are in New Zealand mate 😜
@@daibach999 I know.. me too... asking if you were doing this before you moved to nz.
@Jason phillips worked in a Port yes in Wales, stevedore and crane not on this type of crane though. These are much smoother and quiet to 😂
