    Thanks! I grew up with men in my family that could show me all this. They have all passed. So when I heard rivet gun. I said, I think I want one! But needed to understand it first. You do a great job of clarifying things.
    65 year old female. But I know a lot.

    This tool really works, I was quite impressed but skeptical at the same time. Once I got it I tried and it worked.

    As I grow older - I seek easier ways to do things. At 83-years old with a bit of arthritis this tool helps me set pop rivets quickly and without pain. I also switched my hand operated staple gun for an electric staple gun.

    Can you, and, is there any advantage, in using these with an Impact driver? Thanks.

    Thanks for your quick reply. I have 2 rive drill adapters and they quit working after I left them in my tool chest for a year. The jaws seemed to get stuck. Putting in some oil doesn't help. This model is far more expensive than rive or deko. Hope it works if if leave it unused for some time.

      Well hopefully that old saying holds true "you get what you pay for" cheaper is not always better.

    Much better than the crappy one I bought on Amazon, it didn't work so I sent off for a second one and that didn't work either. Wish I bought the one you have there, many thanks for demonstrating and giving your opinion on this terrific pop riveting tool.

    Can you use it without 2 hands? What if you need one hand to hold parts together...

    I attached it to on a thicker rivet it wouldn't cut it. Drill started to smoke.

    How does the adaptor work ? Is the rotary power from the drill making the mandrel holding jaw to rotate ?

    • @reviewsteardownsandmore4701
      @reviewsteardownsandmore4701  6 лет назад +1

      It works really good, The rotation from the drill clamps then pulls straight back on the mandrel. I hope this answers your question?

      I'm not 100% for sure but I think China. I'm very impressed with the quality of it and it beats a hand rivet gun any day.

    The driil needs to be cordless?

    • @thsvnlwn
      @thsvnlwn 4 года назад +2

      No, but the drill needs to able to turn clock- and anti clockwise.

  • @pedromoises6575
    @pedromoises6575 2 года назад

    which way does it turn cause it goes both ways so im confused

    • @7s29
      @7s29 Год назад

      Set it clockwise to pull back, and anti clockwise to drop the pin.

    It works, but it needs lots of room. You can't use it in tighter places.

      Use a right angle attachment on the drill for certain tight spaces.
