She is soooo smart... she know that naeun is her korean name. When the foreigner asking her name, usually a kid will tell them their nick name or the name that mostly people called her of. But she said her english name, Eden..

It's like William and Bentley, that's their English names and they have their Korean names (which I've forgotten cuz you rarely hear them).

that driver needs a major tip... not just driving but tourist guide and baby sitter. I laughed so much when they switched and Junho had to drive and the driver was awkwardly holding the baby. Then when Nauen had to pee they just dumped the baby on the driver and ran LOL

I think the easiest way to explain this is that it seems like in their eyes, when you give them tips it's kinda like you're viewing them as a beggar who can't provide for themselves even though they have a job. Like you're lowering their status in society to the point where they need extra money just to survive

But what little I know of this family, I'm happy to have learnt that their omma Anna, has incorporated her own upbringing with gender neutral hairstyle and clothing for each child to make their own decisions rather than force-feeding them as society wants them to be.
I envy them so much but in a good way.
I, too, subscribe to this parenting style in which to give your child(ren) the basic societal tenants but just enough freedom for them to discover the World through their experiences and hopefully making good informed choices as they grow and hopefully enrich themselves with.

I can’t remember the episode but there was one foreigner who did a instalive and said that, initially, when she first saw them (Seungjae I believe) she wasn’t gonna engage or anything (just wave and then leave) but the staff wanted to showcase different situations with the kids so they asked her to “pretend” like she hadn’t already encountered them (she sat down beside them again) and they also asked her to respond majorally in English (her mother tongue) though she knew Korean as well, so that we could get a feel for Seungjae language skills 😂

I just looked up how Anna and joohoo met and I didn’t realize she was so young. I’m so glad she got lucky with a good man as the father of her kids and her husband. I hope they are happy till the end and I know their kids will grow up beautifully. It must really be hard to come to a foreign country and probably be judged honestly but she is a beautiful person inside out.
