For me, Fireflies is the best ballad song ever I've never heard that before and this song makes me a lot of emotions and I cried the first time when I heard this music, the other songs are just amazing too they are my favorite group of all time I love them so much
Fireflies got to you just like it got me. I put that song as the same level of Mamamoo's I Miss You. Epically devastating. The intro has a pink floyd style prog rock vibe. It could have been a song itself with it's length. Stomp being performed live is going to be epic. 2 rings has one of Dami's best rap since Boca and Damien. Overall Ollunder and the ladies out did themselves with this album. Virtuous is a masterpiece of an album. Dreamcatcher is the DREAM. 🤘🐺🤘 For Siyeon ❤.
Absolutely love this album! I think this was always the plan with Villains and Virtuous. Given how they always let the concepts drive the music it makes sense. When OOTD dropped and they announced it was going to be a duology I knew that the follow up would be one of their heaviest Korean releases. Since OOTD was them being the Villains and "selling out" to the industry, I don't think Justice could have been anything else. One really good thing I noticed in Villains is that they did a lot of new vocal experimentation. Handong & Gahyeon belts, different members harmonizing, different song structures, and vocal styles, etc. Virtuous feels like they took those elements that really hit and brought them forward, giving us the strongest album they've ever released from a vocal perspective. The Intro really gives me 80's metal band intro and I love it! Stomp, to me, feels like it belongs in a League of Legends Worlds Championship music video like Rise or Warriors. 2 Rings was the song I was least sure about when I heard the highlight medley but they absolutely crush it. It's like part country, part rock, and a little bit funk. Love it. Fireflies is just a vocal showcase. Every part is just beautiful.
As a metalhead I liked that all the other tracks are on the heavier side But I also think Fireflies is the best song in the album. The melody and the harmonies are just perfect IMO. ❤️
It's a really nice balance! They have some really fun heavier rock on there and then they slap you outta nowhere with the best ballad they've ever done.

Also, regarding the Intro, it really gives me vibes of Red Barchetta by RUSH. It might be the key or the chords that it uses or even the tone of the bass. I just immediately thought of that song.
@SylverReacts I didn't see confirmation for that, btw! But I had a similar thought as you, so this was my assumption, and I do know that " ' " means something specific in music, not sure if it's related to movements.
