Heart broken. Yesterday I watched a documentary where Mazen was featured His story was very touching. The documentary is couple of years old. When it was made Mazen was still in the Netherlands. I thought, at least now he can return to free Syria. Today I watch this... From the short time I have seen and heard him, I would wish to have someone like him for a friend. His message that he wanted justice through the legal system, just shows what sort of heart this man possessed.

Heart broken. Yesterday I watched a documentary where Mazen was featured His story was very touching. The documentary is couple of years old. When it was made Mazen was still in the Netherlands. I thought, at least now he can return to free Syria. Today I watch this... From the short time I have seen and heard him, I would wish to have someone like him for a friend. His message that he wanted justice through the legal system, just shows what sort of heart this man possessed.

Isn’t it time we realise we are all one and the same? This vicious cycle of violence and vengeance never ends. We are only hurting ourselves, killing ourselves and condemning our own future generations to the same horror. We must start to love, accept and forgive each other for the wheel to stop turning in this same direction. Peace to you Mazen, I’m so sad that this happened. I imagine living with the memories of what you had seen was worse than repeating it and losing your life to it. I hope you will always be remembered for your experience and bravery.

Mazen sacrificed himself for the sake of truth. He suffered in this prison for many years of torture in the most horrific ways that the human mind cannot imagine, and he was found dead on 12/10/2024.

True Facts: He was lured back by the Assad regime who threatened to hurt his mother, sister and other family members who were still in Syria. This is exactly what his best friend told the media. But there is god between the people and everyone will get his deserved faith at the end of this life. and remember this life is only a test, you can be a terrorist and kill people such as mazen, but you cant escape justice that will be served tomorrow or in the afterlife.
