I’ve had more fun playing Xdefiant the past couple days than I’ve had playing cod in YEARS. Even when I was grinding the hell out of mw2 a couple years ago it wasn’t fun at all it actually fried my brain with how they allow you to play the game now. Xdefiant is damn near camper proof and you don’t have kids laying down at every corner just waiting for you to run by.
Splitgate actually had a skill gap. People hate having to put in the time and grind to get cracked. So they turn to Cod that doesn't have any skill gap
I love how COD’s prime marketing point nowadays is just “look guys! The good stuff from the old games we used to make is coming back because we can’t make anything enjoyable for you on our own anymore!”
