Great loss happened a decade ago when new music directors stop give chance to spb to sing for their songs...nowadays music directors are singing themselves and ruining the songs...so great loss for the country began decades ago before spb demise

I am from Gujarat and I don’t Understand any South Indian language. But My Heart is crying for SPB sir.
He was not just an excellent singer but a genuine human being with pure heart, who cared about his fellow artists and knew how to appreciate one who makes the effort to achieve something. I have heard numerous Hindi songs in his iconic voice but “Ilaiaya Nila” is something else. Though I don’t understand a single word of this song, it directly touches my heart. He has given extraordinary contribution in South Indian cinema and no words are enough to pay tribute to THE SPB.. 🙏🏼

SPB is a true leader, master, and musician. When a mistake occurred (by the team member), he covered it with his voice and further gave him a second opportunity and also a full credit. That's divinity! SPB (the man of Shrthi, Pallavi, and Bhaavam) remains forever with his fabulous and evergreen works and songs. SPB and Ilayaraja were, are, and will be a treasure for music!

To err is human. Nobody is infallible. In this profession, however good you are and how consistently you would have performed perfectly, a slip here or there is sometimes unstoppable. But protecting him and timely support of his colleague is understandable and appreciable. When you feel your fellow musician's pain as yours and take the appropriate remedial measures to save him, you become Devine. Kudos to you SPB sir.

Leadership is about salvaging the situations and delivering the performance with grace. What SPB did actually gave delight to the audience. Had everything been normal, audience wouldn't even have noticed the flautist. This made them appreciated the effort!
