The Dead Zones have only been expanding around the world since Industrialization with the exponential increase in population and never-ending destruction of the Environment caused by ever increasing human activity across the Planet. Monitoring and controlling the negative and detrimental effects humans have on the natural world should be the most urgent and immediate goal if we are to turn this sinking ship into a "Life Economy". I am starting to wonder about this guys story. He goes from shaman's apprentice to economic hitman to activist. It seems pretty hard to believe a man saved by a shaman would become an economic hitman and than an activist.
Conscious purchasing. I don't buy faster-poo-food or "soft?" drinks or eat candy bars or refined sugars. I read labels, but my general rule is not to eat anything that has a label on it in the first place. Plants grown organically don't and shouldn't have labels and therefore, they also shouldn't have any "added" ingredients, i.e. also meaning genetically modified. Why would anyone in their right mind genetically modify any living organism, for what purpose, to what end? I certainly don't want to find out. If you own a cell phone, then ALWAYS keep it as far away from your body, especially your head where your brain is located, as you most certainly do not want to contract cancer from these mini-but-deadly microwave machines. The AMA and Big Pharma don't mind at all if you tape that cell phone to the side of your head, because it means long-term profits for them. Exercise regularly, meditate every single day at least twice a day, and more if possible. Live rurally if you can. Do your best to stay away from large metropolitan areas, such as Los Angeles where the air has no quality. Do regular rain dances. Don't forget to put the Bear Spirit to sleep in the fall and wake it up in the spring with another dance. Talk to your cousin the coyote and your friend the rabbit and sing with your brothers and sisters of the wolf pack. Give thanks to the rattlesnake for warning you to stay away and do so, for good reason.
