As much as I like this version (edit) of the song, and even though I'm an anime fan, I think, personally, that this certain song is better in the originally released version, because I think, again my own opinion, that songs are better listened to in the slower versions to keep the message in the lyrics (simply because I believe every single song that was written has a story behind it, and I always love to study/ analyze the lyrics to find the message/ story behind it), but on the other hand, this song's message is clear and strong enough to reach the listener if they focused on the lyrics. I would not waste my first listen of this song on the nightcore version, but it most definitely is great to listen to for a pass-time or for self- reflecting.
Okay, anyone feel free to act as if you did not read this because I probably was spouting nonsense, but again, this is MY OWN OPINION, I do not hate on nightcores at all ( I love them), and completely respect others' opinions.

First comment, And one. small. question.
Why people keep on nightcoring songs?

Many people do not recognize Nightcore as a genre because of the way it's being created, which only confirms that anyone can create a Nightcored version of some song, it's relatively an easy job to do.
Nightcore itself exists for two reasons : 1. Good portion of the songs sound "better" or come back to "life" after being Nightcored, meaning, people who are not Anime lovers listen to Nightcore only if the song sounds more energetic after being Nightcored.
      2. Good majority of others, on the other hand, are Anime fans / lovers/ viewers / followers etc.. If you had noticed, each and every Nightcored song contains an animated picture of something or someone from the Anime (Japanese cartoons), which only go hand - in - hand with the high - pitched voices and a fast rhythm.
So for example, a quite generic song can "become" a better version of unofficial Anime opening soundtrack. Basically, for Anime lovers, it creates and elevates the emotion for a lot of Anime fans, because the Nightcore itself combined with an appropriate and adequate picture equals a very small, sort of a "clip" or creative "short story" etc.. That has everything in common with the Anime industry.
I cannot speak for other people, as the intentions vary greatly, but for me, as a great Anime lover (and an adult), creating Nightcore comes naturally to me, i am doing it out of hobby only, but when i do it, i put everything in it, meaning, i am always trying to find the perfect pitch balance, perfect (or close to perfect) picture that would go well with the Nightcored song etc..
When i finish creating the video, it almost never disappoints me. It's like i've created a new Anime soundtrack, or, in better words, converted it.
As close as i could get to giving an example would be the Anime characters (mostly female for their high pitched voices) . A lot of people create an OVA, which is basically a very creative, short clip that contains scenes from different Anime series that are combined and make up for a short movie, it's like a 3 minute version of some Anime series.
The reason why most of the Nightcore "creators" or "converters" don't create OVA's is very simple. Some songs are worthy of creating an OVA for, others come as an "Audio only" with a picture.
It's the same with any singer's career. Sometimes they post an official video for one of their songs, other times they only post an audio video only.
As for the intentions of different Nightcore creators, they can be questionable a lot of times. Some people don't care about the quality of their Nightcored songs and only want views and likes, others, like me, create it out of love towards Anime and do not post any ads or monetize them (some videos need to have ads, as the respectful owners of the song / wallpaper acquire their take in it and allow the video to be on RUclips only if there are ADS on the video, which means that if any big or small audience watches the video and ads, the money goes to them rightfully).
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask ^-^

People listen to it and like it. Someone could say something like why does Halsey make music, all her songs sound the same (I don't believe this, just an example), but if people like the music and the creator likes the music then why not make it?
