I use regular old plain any brand hand sanitizer and I use a cotton pad that I use to remove my makeup. Sure it take a little elbow grease and keep reapplying because it tends to evaporate. That works the best for me.
I soak mine in a solution of hot water and Oxi Clean. I let it sit a while (not sure how long, but probably longer than 15 minutes). The spray residue wipes right off.
@@CreativeAppliques I have used the 91% alcohol on mine for years. No issues! I use cotton balls & Q tips for tight spots. It takes just a couple of minutes to clean each hoop!
Can you tell me how one would find the little silver piece in the hoops that is inside the circle on the end that the screw tightens into? mine has fallen out and I can't find out any information on how to find a new little silver round piece that the screw fits or screws into on the opposite side. Thank you, I hope you can respond!
@@mlistander I sell the designs. You can find them here: creativeappliques.com/product-category/in-the-hoop/hanging/ If you are asking about the wire hangers, you can find them here: www.ackfeldwire.com
If they are wiped with alcohol after each time you spray, you don't get the build up and have such a chore to clean them. Straight alcohol works great.
I have used the extra stabilizer paper that hangs off the sides to fold back over to cover the hoop and then spray. It helps keep it off the hoop.
Great tip! Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for your help. Used the Totally Awesome spray and it worked perfectly. 😂
Great to hear! Thanks for watching!
Old fashioned shaving cream works really well too
Thanks for sharing. I will have to try that too! Thanks for watching!

I use 91percent alcohol and a old cloth. It also works great for cleaning you cutting mats. No socking at all.
I would worry it might take the finish off the plastic. Have you had any issues with that? Thanks for watching!

Hi! I would contact your local dealer and see if they can assist you with getting the part. Thank you so much for watching!
my daughter bought the entire screw assembly for me on Amazon. She thinks it was arround $5.
Wouldn’t it be batter to just spray the underside of the fabric rather than spraying the stabilizer and frame?
Since the spray does not come out very consistently, it could cause blotches of spray on the fabrics.
Rubbing alcohol does a great job, removes the sticky stuff easily
Great idea! Thanks for watching!
Can you please tell me the size of your mini hoop holder. I want to start making them. Thank You.
Are you referring to the Home Sweet Home hanging? If so, I have ones available for the following hoops: 6x10, 7x12, and 8x8
Do you know where to get them?

Another product that’s good is lighter fluid. I learned that from my husband.

What works the best for cleaning the metal frames?? @CreativeAppliques
I cannot suggest since I have not tried to clean my metal frames.
@CreativeAppliques thank you Dawn. I bought some used and they all are a mess. I'll try the Awesome spray first.
