As fun as the low level silly games are I like having the higher rank spectates sometimes. Feels like I'm genuinely learning stuff and just seeing the higher level gameplay on the characters I play and having it reviewed for what they're doing right and wrong is cool (coming from a peak Plat player)
Tell me bro. Do you look at some of. These plat reviews and then you question how they are the same rank as you when they are so much worse. If I don’t stack with my 2 other friends then my chances of ranking up is impossible. If I’m lucky I can go .500 in my 5 rank up games but then I’m stuck at plat 2.

I was hardstuck diamond/masters with my 3 stack for many seasons on dps. It was only when I started taking ownership of losses and stopped doing childish shit like flaming my poorly performing teammates that I actually started climbing.

After I started one tricking Ramattra and maximizing living while also being aggro, I climbed into high Masters. Now I'm stuck at M1

Flats very plainly asked for VODs from Bronze, that were going to be made fun of, and that will have no educational value. Whoever got spectated knew that.
You can't even compare Flats and Emong when Flats says upright that he roasts and not educate the OP. If he said he's gonna educate people and did his roasts, yeah that makes sense.
They also require much less aim in comparison to someone eith hitscan. Im not saying they need none, this junkrat was precise with their shots, clearly, so that is important. But at lower ranks, you dont need to have that type of aim to get elims on choke points.
phara is also a point and click, its cause its a projectile that can be chunked behind cover or 10000 miles away in pharas case and do more than half your health per shot and for junkrat his gernades bounce so if you mix up what angle you toss them you can half gernades that both hit you at the same time which instakills at no risk of the junkrat behind a wall (im the #1 junkrat hater)
Junkertown is an interesting map to play for Junkrat because first point is horrible for him, second point is ok and third point is amazing Edit: 3:07 it would be fun if Roadhog and Junkrat *were* shot on sight upon entering Junkertown, rendering the rest of the map unplayable for them.
Surprisingly junkrat isn't as bad on 1st point as long as they don't stand in the open, that simple, there's a good flank on right side where u slide over the roof, u also cab mine up onto the highground or flank in one of the bottom door, it's surprisingly that easy, I think I've played against this guy before too, not a bad player but not the smartest still always fun to play fellow ratd

junkrat has been my favorite hero since launch of OW. I hate that sometimes he's just the wrong pick. but I still play him. Hitting choice left clicks or mine jumping into a phara or widow for an execute is just too much fun and /flex. I threw a mine at someone last night that was more precise than Tom Brady. It was miles away. All they could say was, "damn..."
I was so happy earlier because i decided to play Overwatch for the first time in months hopped on a game (only unranked) as junk, and kept nailing my shots. It felt real good.
dont see many junkrat players in my masters and gm games so was interesting to see. Also the fact that the widow and other squishies and to some extent the sigma did not start on high ground defence is baffaling to me
If I were to try to give him one piece of advice, and I think this applies to basically anybody at any rank (Outside of maybe like GM/top 500, I know they are basically playing a different game there). If you are basically a one-trick, who wants to become the best at one given character, when you find yourself forced off your one-trick role. Try picking one character that complements your characters weaknesses while still being a character you are still somewhat comfortable playing. I mean, I wouldn't really recommend a one-trick junkrat to pick up widow as their secondary pick since it's basically going from one extreme of heavy projectile aim to heavy hitscan aim. Though you probably also wouldn't want to go pharah since if you are struggling against a widow in the first place then pharah probably isn't a better pick. So who should he pick as his secondary character? It really depends on what match-ups he's really struggling against the most as junkrat, and what characters he is most comfortable picking. If he wants to try picking another projectile character that isn't too bad of a matchup against widow then I'd recommend genji, but it really depends on what he's comfortable playing. If he finds soldier to be a more comfortable pick then I'd say go for it. It's a hitscan character, so it'll be a more reliable source of damage than junkrat or genji really. If one character isn't enough try two. Just don't go mystery heroes in a ranked game and wonder why things aren't working out when you haven't gotten a single ultimate and you are constantly shifting your playstyle from one end of the spectrum to the other.
This guy is clearly a Junkrat 1 trick, so his rank is "boosted" above his average hero ability. whenever he swapped to Reaper he looked so lost and it seemed like such a strange swap in the first place on Junkertown.
Enemy team: has zarya, zen, ana and widow, plus soldier who can run away. Our guy swaps to reaper 😭 when u can't really flank them effectively nor ult well
So he is masters right ? Way to get to top 500 as Junk now, start doing more random stuff, randomly flank, pop up in the faces outta nowhere etc, also spam more voice lines and that should take you to gm real quick
A small junkrat tip : try to do a bit more of "haha junk goes brr" in their backline with triple mine jumps (especially on 2nd point, defense, here it is very effective)

This game is not a good example of a masters junkrat gameplay. This map is bad for junk and because of that this player hides and only hits spam hits for the most of the game. This looks more like a silver gameplay than masters tbh.
This guy is masters? What.... I am a Junk 1 trick in mid Diamond and he's so clunky with what he does. It's rare that the combos with his primary and shift. It's like he plays on Console with his general moving of the camera and movement. He uses no evasive movement with his ult to top it off.
how tf is this masters gameplay? also those "rollouts" you are talking about are complete dgsht, going twice as high doesnt give you any more distance and now both your mines are on cooldown, hit the second one as youre about to land and youll get more value out of it.

Why is junkrat the only hero we label as spam. Every hero spams.
Because most junkrat players literally just spam at chokes and do nothing else
