RTE, as national broadcaster, should be obliged to show all elite level finals involving Irish athletes. Be it boxing, archery, or tiddlywinks, if an Irish sportsperson makes a world championship final it should be broadcast. As a small sporting nation, every Irish world champion should have their achievement shared with the nation.
