Kuguri's definitely got some potential to be a new fan favorite, guys shown off a bunch of traits fans tend to ADORE, and now that we've seen his more "smoke demon" tendencies, only a matter of time if you ask me lol
He reminds me of the Vanica, who was solely devoted to finding people worth testing her skills. Even the almost sick perversion and arousal from battle is identical. --Edge Yuta-- Kuguri is definitely going to show Chihiro what it means to be a swordsman, even if Chihiro has to get some new lashes to prove it.
This reminds me of Katakuri from One Piece. A character who has a mission but is willing to test the mc’s skills and maybe teach him something to honour the spirit of battle
Kuguri is hilarious but he someone that definitely going to get a lot of fans as the story progresses You can see he old school as a swords master and that he wants Hirohiko and Chihiro to learn and train by the book. Thats the difference between Chihiro and the other users. While Chihiro used Enten longer the other swordsman had decades of training so they already in tune with the enchanted blade. Chihiro has had no training with the sword and he making it up as he goes by fighting in the battle field. So basically Chihiro is using Kuguri as a test subject to so he can be a better swordsman. But yeah it’s going to be interesting Im looking forward to see more of the battle and I’m wondering what his partner is going to do
Chihiro’s father might have been a strong sorcerer himself now that I think about it, he could possibly have held off the top Hishaku members a for a lil bit, looking at the destruction of the compound he might have fought back😅
