I had the similar problem since it was installed by IKEA a number of years ago. Whirlpool service guy came to repair for already several times, when they use their "test pan" (a heavy raw iron one), it worked. But the problem still remains with my expensive innox pans and pots. Recently it blinking one after another one. I am tired with this whirlpool induction cooktop, going to replace it soon.
I guess you don't know model number or anything like a manual you might have. I'm by God how long for a damn manual and/or model number. Can anyone help me here. Even the whirlpool site can't seem to find....
Same problem with a 6 months. Just shut down the power and turn back and it will working.
True. Thanks man
I am having the same problem. How to fix this ????

Hi, this was returned under warranty. I replaced it with Bosch which has been working perfectly.
