Am I the only one who loves how they keep using the MTRCB 5-note leitmotif each time a rating appears and how it adapts to them? G and PG are both high keys because they're at least suitable for the whole family, even if PG is for all ages just with parental guidance for younger audiences. R-13 is somewhat neutral, like the main MTRCB chime. It's standing between children and adults so that fits pretty well. R-16 is obviously deeper due to older audiences. And R-18...It's a bit tricky. Either it's the version at the beginning of the R-18 sequence where it's obviously based on sequences deemed "sexy", to the point of parody. Or it's the very deep and muted version when the MTRCB Mascot raises the R-18 panel. Either way, leitmotifs are so satisfying when used right.

Am I the only one who loves how they keep using the MTRCB 5-note leitmotif each time a rating appears and how it adapts to them?
G and PG are both high keys because they're at least suitable for the whole family, even if PG is for all ages just with parental guidance for younger audiences.
R-13 is somewhat neutral, like the main MTRCB chime. It's standing between children and adults so that fits pretty well.
R-16 is obviously deeper due to older audiences.
And R-18...It's a bit tricky. Either it's the version at the beginning of the R-18 sequence where it's obviously based on sequences deemed "sexy", to the point of parody. Or it's the very deep and muted version when the MTRCB Mascot raises the R-18 panel.
Either way, leitmotifs are so satisfying when used right.
For PG, People under 13 need adult supervision.
