我在想我的清单 = "I'm thinking about my list" (Not: "I miss my list") We are taught that, when 想 is followed by a noun, it means "to miss" (sad to be away from). But I recently learned that, when 在想 is used, it means "thinking about".
I know the one Chinese Kanji Character has two pronunciations and means. For example, like you show that is "hang" and "xing". The hanyu and hanzi Is xing is 行李 and 银行 ,needles to say ,luggage and bank. Such as,"上海香港银行" or "luggage". "行李"is used in Japanese language ,but it's common for elderly people,as same kanji but different pronunciation. In a sense, it's so funny for me that's same mean as"行李" and Japanese kanji "行李". Hanzi has same figure and mean , but different pronunciation. Maybe they have same root. That's my 2cents , thanks. I'm not a linguist but am interested in many language and different culture that I have. 谢谢您,再见!
