Her green skin is part of what drives her to her extremist actions, her hat and “witchy” cloak were given to her by Glinda, her best friend, in the book only her apparent allergy to water is NOT a cakewalk, and this ENTIRE musical (and book) is all about why Elphaba’s stereotypical “witchiness” And perceived “evilness” is entirely unfitting. I don’t think you’ve even seen the musical.
