  • Introducing the Light Adjustable Lens, or LAL, Dr. John Berdahl sits down with Brittany Kaye with KELOland Living to talk about this exciting, advanced option for cataract patients. The LAL is the only intraocular lens (IOL) that can be adjusted after it's been implanted in the eye to give the patient and surgeon more flexibility and precision with the power of the lens itself. Vance Thompson Vision participated in the clinical trials that helped the LAL gain FDA approval in the US.

Do you get starburst or halo effect with LAL?
How does this compare with PanOptix lens?

I'd LOVE to have that... I've got Panoptix and it's NOT working well at all.. it's a lot better than it was- but NOWHERE near good enough.. can't read road signs- and its nust NOT clear and good sight.
