Scientifically bathroom is the place which contains most of the microorganisms ... n there are a lot of studies which says its not safe to take ur mobile into the restroom and we easily carry it everywhere .. leaving it opencan lead to health issues but otherwise i do agree it is very very aesthetic

I just wanted to know out of curosity that since you don't have bathroom door, What if your cousins or friends come over for a sleepover, will everyone leave the room every time someone wants to use the loo? Or what about the basic hygiene and bacteria and all that can travel in room when you use the washroom? I am sorry but aesthetics above hygiene? loved your bathroom, but adding a clear fluted glass door and either white linen or sheer curtain on those window from the insidr of thr washroom will look way more classy and practical, you can always tie those curtains at the corner when the loo is not in use for aesthetic purpose and let them spread while using. trust me it will elevate your washroom look!

Loved the bathroom but no door just threw me off. Mostly all hotels/villas have like a glass sliding door to it. I wouldn't want my room to be smelling suddenly coz of drainage issue if it happens anytime
You can go for a sliding door for your washroom to save space and maintain aesthetic. Also people telling her to put door for privacy, if u see the whole wall is of glass so a door cannot conceal much😅 Like she said maybe impractical but its what she wanted and its so pretty.

Suppose if u are with someone in the room and u and the other person needs to use washroom..then what will u do ...u r not going to use it in front of that person or you will say that person to go out just bcz u need to use washroom .....it will be very awkward for both of you.....think upon it again.... Mridul, I really love all of your videos and your aesthetics BUT......as an architect, I really can't comprehend this 'no bathroom door' idea. I just feel it's really impractical and makes no sense. I would really like to know where did you get this inspiration from and which hotel has this kind of a setting. If you are referring to the glass partition between the sleeping area and the bathtub, that's a completely different concept and they do have blinds inside for privacy. Even if you don't want privacy, that's your choice with those glass partitions you have. I'm not even talking about them. BUT the door is a must for many reasons, hygiene being the foremost. Secondly, a door is required to avoid potential flooding inside your room in case the plumbing system fails. Third, the air change. The air inside the bathroom is full of pollutants and hence most bathrooms have an exhaust or mechanical ventilation system, SEPARATE from the ventilation in rest of the habitable areas. Hope you consider these aspects and put a door. Maybe you can put a sliding one if there's a space crunch, although carpentry and civil wise, a regular door seems the easiest at this point, but again, that's up to you. I love you and all your videos and aesthetic sense, but had to highlight this as I wish the best for you! Keep shining!!

When we poop and flush it, often the potty particles circulate in the air. That’s why people suggest to keep our toothbrushes a bit far off from the commode. In your case, the potty particles will directly enter your room and sit on the bed sheets 😂😂🙊 and fresh towels kept in the trolley, won’t they get wet? And won’t the potty particles contaminate the fresh towels too? 🥲 loved the vanity though and the gold switch board and the pleasant wallpaper ❤️

Omg the room is just amazing....... love the bathroom........ just a suggestion you add bamboo curtain or some kind of separation kinda thing in between the room and the bathroom to separate the energy of both the places ...... because places have different energy and there should be little separation because you are going to spend a lot of time there and energy of the place matters a lot
I see all the comments and critique regarding the bathroom situation and i do agree. I was feeling the same in the head initially. But think about it, my theory is, she already has 2 other space aside from this house/room. Both of them are very functional/ practical and aesthetically pleasing. She is getting married soon and probably will move into a new house or whatever. This could be something that she wanted to try for the longest time and it being the space she will use the least on long term could be reason for all the experiments. I also felt at first the whole vibe doesn’t feel very mridul like. But after all its her space and money.
We had bathrooms separated with glass door & glass partitions (8feet height) from our dresser rooms but it was open from the above (approx 2 feet). In 2 years the wardrobe shutters started getting moulds because of the steam & all. We have 9x9feet washrooms attached with 9x9 feet dressers. The washrooms have proper ventilation & both a fan & an exhaust. Still the wardrobe shutters got moulds so my suggestion would be to get a glass door installed.

loved your vanity area the most, it was super classy, and the window view from there was fab! and your ideas the switchboards was great, they looked cutes!! other then that, i think instead of putting a cloth like curtains over your bed frame, you can try having white netted curtains there since they add a sort of more dreamy effect, along with the curtains you can add a layer of some other very nuded color or some green leaves basic since your room kind of lack colors rn, also since you tried giving a bali touch, i think it would enhance that up. also, instead of letting your bathroom be bare, you can add on white netted curtains of the length you like, since rn even the commode is visible, which is kinda weird, since even the hotels usually have a short lobby kind to walk in the bathroom so the area's not that visible while being in the bed atl

Oh my god!! The bathroom situation is sooo off putting.. even if you do your business in there some smell is going to linger.. and all the negative energy also.. even the hotels also have a separate door to the commode area for hygiene purposes
What a beauyiful concept.. loved interior as the room is very small, utilized space very well. You can go with glass door for bathroom to keep negative energy out
My bathroom is also attached to My bedroom but inspite of having a sliding door I n My hubby alwayz keep it open but then when My kiddo is born n grown up We need tat door closed.. U understand what I mean to say here.. plus the steam from bathroom or any situation like wet clothes smell

When we poop and flush it, often the potty particles circulate in the air. That’s why people suggest to keep our toothbrushes a bit far off from the commode. In your case, the potty particles will directly enter your room and sit on the bed sheets 😂😂🙊 and fresh towels kept in the trolley, won’t they get wet? And won’t the potty particles contaminate the fresh towels too? 🥲 loved the vanity though and the gold switch board and the pleasant wallpaper ❤️

Omg the room is just amazing....... love the bathroom........ just a suggestion you add bamboo curtain or some kind of separation kinda thing in between the room and the bathroom to separate the energy of both the places ...... because places have different energy and there should be little separation because you are going to spend a lot of time there and energy of the place matters a lot

I see all the comments and critique regarding the bathroom situation and i do agree. I was feeling the same in the head initially. But think about it, my theory is, she already has 2 other space aside from this house/room. Both of them are very functional/ practical and aesthetically pleasing. She is getting married soon and probably will move into a new house or whatever. This could be something that she wanted to try for the longest time and it being the space she will use the least on long term could be reason for all the experiments. I also felt at first the whole vibe doesn’t feel very mridul like. But after all its her space and money.

We had bathrooms separated with glass door & glass partitions (8feet height) from our dresser rooms but it was open from the above (approx 2 feet). In 2 years the wardrobe shutters started getting moulds because of the steam & all.
We have 9x9feet washrooms attached with 9x9 feet dressers. The washrooms have proper ventilation & both a fan & an exhaust. Still the wardrobe shutters got moulds so my suggestion would be to get a glass door installed.

Loved the room but bathroom should have a door as it questions hygiene and specially when you open your eyes first thing in the morning you want to see the toilet , and i recommend you to get the door for the it will go with the aesthetic either the translucent glass door or half white half glass its up to you but you should get a door made there

other then that, i think instead of putting a cloth like curtains over your bed frame, you can try having white netted curtains there since they add a sort of more dreamy effect, along with the curtains you can add a layer of some other very nuded color or some green leaves basic since your room kind of lack colors rn, also since you tried giving a bali touch, i think it would enhance that up.
also, instead of letting your bathroom be bare, you can add on white netted curtains of the length you like, since rn even the commode is visible, which is kinda weird, since even the hotels usually have a short lobby kind to walk in the bathroom so the area's not that visible while being in the bed atl

I think this type of bathroom will be trend in future,I already saw this in some C/k dramas..Also already mridul has separate place for studio Where she spend most of the time/hangout with friends cousins..last thing she has another flat where she will live after her marriage & that house in the same building..
