I work for a call center and had an elderly man call in this week trying to send money to ‘a friend’ It felt wrong and he was so panicked. I got him to talk to me and found it was one of these scammers. If I had never watched I wouldn’t have known to dig deeper. It took an hour and so much convincing but I was able to save that man 10k. Thank you for having these videos. I wish we had required training for people when opening bank accounts so they know what to look for with these scammers.

Tears came to my eyes when I heard part of the "please leave a message after the tone" around the 10:49/50 mark. My friend recorded that decades ago and died maybe 10 or so years ago. She would be sad knowing thieves are using her voice in their scams. RIP my friend... you are missed.

However, if this has not already been done, it would be important that you contact your bank and go file a police report with your local law enforcement, providing them with all the evidence you have, such as the phone number you mentioned.

I had to call British Airlines to change the date of a flight from Arizona to Norway. A person in/from India answered. I had to press the numbers on my phone to enter my credit card number but it didn't work. Long story short, he was eventually able to help me. Best customer service ever. And when my daughter and I arrived at the airport he had booked us on business class. That was a whole other experience than the economy class I'm used to travel on. 😅 I guess my point is, the scammers are not representative for your country. India is so much more.

After you gather their personal info and photos, send (or atleast threaten to send) all that info to their contacts, friends in LinkedIn and other socials, and also share the link to this video too. One thing every one of them values is their reputation in society. Hitting that will effect them like no other. Tarnishment is the only effective punishment. That'll definitely instill more fear in those people, and will help prevent others from joining or working for these companies.

Then call them and tell them they can either give up being a scammer or their computer would need to be put out with a fire extinguisher, or they could risk calling the local fire department and expose themselves publicly to the world as scammers.
