    Hello,
During the blue card appointment, do they accept payment by cash or debit card? Or is only giro cards allowed?

Hello ! I will be applying for Blue Card visa in Mumbai. Could you please check and advise whether Police Clearence Certificate (PCC) is required for the Blue Card visa application. It is no where mentioned in the checklist but I just want to be sure. Please help.

I hold an Indian passport and a German blue card. I am planning to travel to India. Do I need to book for a visa stamping appointment in India to re-enter Germany?

    • @ExpatTravelFinds

Hello! Thank you for reaching out. If you have a valid Indian passport and a valid Blue card(which is not expired), then you can re-enter Germany without any appointment.

@@ExpatTravelFinds thanks for the quick response. So even if the passport is not stamped, the valid blue card suffices.

Yes, that is sufficient. You don’t need a visa stamping appointment.

Hello, appreciate for all the information provided.
    I have few questions,
    1. once appointment is scheduled is it possible to reschedule it due to emergency? If yes, how?
    2. When husband and wife both got appointment together, is it mandatory for wife to visit ? Or husband alone can submit documents for both and get it done?
    Please let us know
    Thanks in advance

Hello! Thank you for reaching out.
      1. You can reschedule your appointment using this link. otv.verwalt-berlin.de/ams/TerminBuchen?lang=en
      2. You need to submit your biometrics during the interview and same applies for your wife.

    Hi
I have a job offer and planning to move to Germany (on a blue card Visa) sometime in 1st week of September. I have my VFS appointment after 2 weeks. Also, My job contract is going to be an unlimited job contract.
I want to come to Germany in 1st week of September and then travel back to India for about 4 weeks from mid-Nov to mid-December. I would want to understand if this trip would be possible or not (as I definitely need to make this trip back to India)? If there are going to be challenges, can you suggest what best can I do?
I don't think I will be able to apply for blue card until I return back from India.

Hello, It all depends on the duration of national visa that you will get. Try to travel back to Germany within that period.

Hi Felipe, The day you are applying for Blue card with 3 months salary slips, it generally takes 2-4 months from that day to get your Blue card delivered to your address. Hope this clarifies!

@@ExpatTravelFinds I suggest you to update the video title as "My Experience applying EU Blue Card in Germany 2023". Here it does not explain everything about the Blue card but only your case.
It will be misleading for someone who wants to do in on there own and save 3+ month time on gathering the documents.

🎉 I've just made my big move to Germany on 25th Julne with a jobseeker visa! 💼 Now, I've got my sights set on converting it into a Blue Card, and I need YOUR help to make it happen! 🙌
Here's what I've got so far:
    📌 Passport ✅
    📌 Job contract ✅
    📌 Degree certificate ✅
📌 Travel Health insurance from Bajaj Allianz (valid until November 29th) ✅
Firstly, I don't have salary slips yet since I've just started my job. Do I really need them for the visa conversion process? 📄💼
Lastly, I haven't enrolled in public health insurance. Would love to hear your experiences and opinions on whether it's necessary during this stage. 🏥💉
If any of you have gone through a similar process or have knowledge about it, I would really appreciate your input. What additional documents might I need? What steps should I take to ensure a smooth transition from a jobseeker visa to a Blue Card?

Hello! Thanks for reaching out. Salary slips were required for my case, since my documents were submitted through my employer. It might not be the case for you. Regarding public health insurance, I have one from Barmer. But you can also explore other options like TK Health Insurance. Lastly, please watch our video if you haven’t done it already.
