Kickstarter prices aren't going to be what you see when its sold. you also have to remember, you are receiving essentially 1st or more like beta edition cards, and since they may change the artwork or even card text, it will increase these cards collectability and their value will go up. if the game kicks off, and since I see 200,000 backed already, the game could potentially have a big start, and if the gameplay is good and people enjoy it the game will continue. If the game is popular then single cards will increase in value. Since MTG is beginning to die, it is opening the door for other TCG's to have their time in the spotlight. If i may, I suggest Flesh and Blood if you're looking for a newer tcg, with very unique gameplay that has a worldwide fanbase. They just held their first world championship tournament with a 300,000 dollar prize pool. And they hold tournaments globally all year long. I love trying and playing new games, and i love the idea of cute/cool monsters fighting...hence pokemon, digimon, etc... cant wait for this gae, I will be backing this!
If ur gonna be harsh on the game, at least be fair and accurate. Its not a pokemon clone, its inspired by several tcgs and attempts to take their good elements and put them together in one. And the cards dont look cheap. Its their art style. If u personally dont like it, fine. Lastly, yea, prices r a lil high, but its indie and in kickstarter. Ofc prices r higher than established tcgs from bigger companies
As card game crypt said 2s are like lvl 5and 6s and 3s are like 8+ tributes. $25 for SD is high for mass production, but you get a custom elestral die and a really nice rules book in each deck. Also the card stock quality is quite overkill on how high grade it is compared to other tcgs
It’s just the truth. When I saw the name of this game for the first time, all I thought of was “Ancestral Radiance”. Lol. If it was original and not blatantly trying to piggyback, the comments wouldn’t be as brutal.

Elestrals is actually take bits and pieces from many different TCGs are there and combined it in a fun way. Pokémon is obviously a big inspiration but its nowhere near the same way in terms of gameplay
So I checked out the kickstarter, and I want to make sure I understand properly. Am I correct in thinking they’re charging $25 per starter deck, and they’re not including 3 copies of all the cards? Are there even any foils in starter decks? I didn’t see steven point any out in the opening. If I’m understanding properly, that seems like way too high of a price for a starter deck of that quality. Digimon starter decks have some of the best foiling in the game and only cost half as much, and vanguard starter decks are £4 and come with everything at max copies. Do you even get sleeves or a proper deck box to help justify being twice as expensive as digimon? I’m not trying to be overly negative here, I just genuinely want to understand. I love card games and would be very interested in checking this out, but that price is a big turn off for me.
It's pretty typical for indie tcgs to have higher starter deck prices, something about small print runs. The more you buy, the cheaper it is. Bandai buys alot.
Gotta remember this is a kickstarter so applying MSRP of already existing games is a bad comparison to base what is more expensive/less expensive. Also, the products found on kickstarter are different from the ones I showed here. You can check out the official website if you want more info 👍
Most of the cards in the start decks are also in the main booster. You also get a D20 and a very detailed and high quality rule book. I know the price is intimidating but I promise it’s not as bad as it seems

This game looks good to me, I find the art work is very interesting and the game format seems fun aswell. Very cool pack opening 👍

Bruh the cost of cards is crazy, paying 2 for a 3-9 is fucking crazy, and yea 25 for a starter deck is kinda crazy lol
2 and 3 spirit elestrals are basically 1 and 2 tribute summons from yugioh. You can only spend 1 spirit on an elestral per turn.
