I would respectfully completely disagree that it’s harder to install an architectural shingle than a 3 tab. Installing a 3 tab actually takes some skill, it’s really easy to install them crooked. I personally know of several 3 tab jobs that have had to to complete tear offs because they were crooked

3 tabs might take a little more skill to install, but they look average.... Dimensional shingles look 10x better and can be installed faster.....
