These dogs are so intelligent. You can tell that they're always thinking and assessing every situation they're in. Owning a malinois isn't your typical dog that only needs to go outside to use the bathroom and be fed twice a day. Owning a malinois is like raising a child.
@@neucounty my boy died 2 weeks ago. I used to involve him in everything, Had his own little backpack to help me with errands in the neighborhood. People think they've got to go out their way to exercise these dogs. They just want to work. I truly respect them.
Whiskey looks a lot like my female. Especially from the back. Our female I am guessing is about 10 lbs. lighter. Your females color is beautiful. I love the charcoal, with the dash of reds in their limits. You do a great job, as the alpha. The Belgian just is not happy without a confident alpha. I would say both are true. The “drive” you get matters. The time invested into them matters. They do require a insane amount of time to be well rounded and they are not for very social people. They bond to the family stronger then any breed I’ve ever seen. The first two years is huge investment….. and so worth it!! To me it’s not about the dog as much as the person raising it.

I highly recommend a prong collar. It has helped me a ton to control my GSD. Also be careful with heat stroke! GSDs and Malinois overheat much quicker.

A little of both. Whiskey just doesn’t care about other people outside our pack. Yet his size attracts people and kids and then they love to just run up to him…. That’s a no no. I learned just him carrying the muzzle keeps people at a distance and makes him feel more at ease.
I want to say yes but if someone does not raise them correctly then no. It’s all in the training with this breed. Incredible dogs but super dangerous if not trained.

Is he pure bread or does he have some gsd in his lines. He's very big framed for a typical mali-gator.
He is very over sized for a Malinois but he is pure Malinois.
