Foreign Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement (FIPA) agreement with China: What's really in it for Canada?" Sep 19, 2014 "Canadian governments are locked in for a generation. If Canada finds the deal unsatisfactory, it cannot be cancelled completely for 31 years. China benefits much more than Canada, because of a clause allowing existing restrictions in each country to stay in place. Chinese companies get to play on a relatively level field in Canada, while maintaining wildly arbitrary practices and rules for Canadian companies in China. Chinese companies will be able to seek redress against any laws passed by any level of government in Canada which threaten their profits. Australia has decided not to enter FIPA agreements specifically because they allow powerful corporations to challenge legislation on social, environmental and economic issues. Chinese companies investing heavily in Canadian energy will be able seek billions in compensation if their projects are hampered by provincial law
There is no need to make a case here .Trudeau and especially Broom Hilda ( Freeland ) made the case for Canada early in, hopefully only term, representing Canada The complete and utter disrespect they showed the Americans during trade negotiations was beyond reproach. They carried themselves with the professionalism of a couple of high school girls, dressed and acting like this was some Sock Hop from the 70’s. With thousands of jobs in their hands and limited knowledge or understanding of why they were there they didn’t disappoint. No they just sold the farm and got kicked out of the dance. Embarrassing to say the least. Criminal to be honest.
Sheer failed so let’s put in Mac Kay for the 2nd half. The trouble is the whole neo conservative team sucks. The West needs to get serious about separation. The last thing we need now is a PM whose power base is in the Maritimes.
@@marcusaetius9309 Your comment leads me to think that you don't understand why it's impossible. Moreover, looks like you're calling for an armed secession, which also puts you in the minuscule minority.
I am impressed to hear after the 2:30 mark, a major political leader speak about the Falun Gong again! In my opinion it will be wonderful if Mr. Peter MacKay is elected Prime Minister of Canada in our next federal election.
The Canadian economy is now the fastest growing in the G7; nearly 1.1 million net new jobs (mostly, private sector and full-time) have come on-stream, since the Liberals came to power; the unemployment rate is a tick above a 40-year low; and Canada’s federal debt as a proportion of our economy is the lowest among the wealthiest nations. Compare that to the the nearly 200,000 net lost jobs over 9+ years of 'Harpernomics.'
Ethan Rakell Voting for Andrew Scheer s not the voice of reason. He’s a Globalist and wouldn’t change ine thing that Trudeau has done! Max Bernier is the only common sense direction we can take, but we’ve probably thrown that opportunity out the window.
@@gboates he learned the hard way that conservatives don't intend to conserve anything except their position and power. He wasn't Left back then, he asked for a third party review of NAFTA to ensure fair business practices (that is what conservatives pretend to want) and he wanted to make sure government policy wasn't co-opted by religious zealots as it has no place in modern government. Unfortunately, the modern Conservatives are now a party of contradictions with a dwindling percentage of the electorate which is pretty sad as we need a legitimate alternative to Trudeau under FPTP.
Stop trading with Communist China unfair trade and stolen technologies creating job losses.

The east of Canada will never change. Max is the best option but the libtards east of Saskatchewan would never vote for him.
Wexit now!
@@marcusaetius9309 Wexit is a pipedream of the ignorant that has precisely zero potential for success.

Mackay sold out David Orchard, the PCs and any chance of getting away from the social conservative
Travis Cutler David was out of step with modern conservatism and too far to the left. He’s all left now isn’t he. A Belinda Buddy liberal - shame.
