My portfolio for the past 30 years has always been self managed and I own 3 shares of Berkshire Hathaway Class A stock (BRK:A) which I bought in at about $17,000 during the mid 90s, I’m currently liquidating some of these positions to incoporate new Gen. Stocks, but am I better off re-investing into Gold as it seems stocks are a little too unstable right now.
The market is not necessarily a rollercoaster if you know your way around the market, there are various opportunities in the present market to accrue good profit, If you are not too savvy with the market, just buy and hold on strong companies with good earnings, or consult with advisors on ETFs and actively managed funds.
It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.
this is definitely considerable! think you could suggest any professional/advisors i can get on the phone with? i'm in dire need of proper portfolio allocation
My CFA ’Margaret Johnson Arndt’ , a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further. She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market.
Hi Ale, Happy Birthday. I love $MSFT as always but I think you should add $TSLA to the portfolio it is a really innovative tech company with high growth and is currently trading half the value since 2021 yet it having deliveries up more then double since then.
I just read an article about how self-storage stock prices will decline (again) in value in 2024 because there is too much of it available now. That will drive the prices they charge down, due to competition. Thus driving down profits as well. Might consider rethinking the EXR.
Many thanks for informative video. Want to know your opinion on Coupang, Korean prototype of Amazon. The company is planning to expand to other countries. Also it is interesting that CPNG is the top 3 holding in Druckenmiller’s portfolio together with MSFT and NVDA
Happy birthday! What percentage of cash would be about right for a portfolio? I tend to run 10 to 30% depending on where the market is trading. Which means I am always 70% to 90% invested. Thoughts on this?
Thank you! 😊 I've often thought about them in the past, but it might be a little too risky for the portfolio. I do think they have long term potential though... Their market is getting pretty crowded these days too though, so I'm a little conflicted
Thanks for the comment my friend! 🙂 Great question. Just a reminder, I'm not recommending anything financially, always do what you think is best with your own money, but to answer your question, I think following along with the portfolio starting now is fine. It would really be personal preference if you wanna go back to the earlier videos, but everything is updated to date, all the numbers are updated in terms of holdings and what percents they make up of the portfolio, so starting with these new videos is totally fine too! 🙂
Absolutely! I want to increase it in the future. I'm just keeping it low for now because of people on a tight budget, I want them to know you can invest with a small amount every month
I include cash in my pie chart portfolio. You did not. Does it matter? I have 31% liquidity and in my chart, that number pushes down my ratio by 1% for the stocks.

Invest in real estate, ETFs and high-yield savings account.

Hello ale, love your content was wondering your opinion on the recent TDOC crash? Do you think it’s still a buy?
Thank you!! I still like TDOC myself, but it's not an easy stock for most people to own unfortunately. Very volatile

Can you look at HUM?
For such a small amount just buy vgt
Can you do more EV related stocks?
Buy some NYCB and won’t have to buy some fractional shares.
I want to follow and buy stocks with you. would you reccomend starting from the march video or watch the previous videos and buy from there?
Thanks for the comment my friend! 🙂
