At the first pluck of the Tine After Tine preset my heart swelled. RIP Angelo. 🖤 Then Bright 80’s! Wonderful. Dark Organ is a particular favorite of mine here, that’s a sound that is hard to explain to someone and when you want it, you want it!
@@oblivionsoundlabJust grabbed this. Time to update Pigments! While that’s happening I’ll listen to some Boards-I mean, Bored Canadians-since I have one of their songs stuck in my head now for no apparent reason. 😹
I am into synthwave, ambient and Vangelis style stuff... This soundbank is so to the point for that genres and so versatile! Great job and keep them coming...
Gorgeous! Your stuff is top notch. PLEASE continue making presets for Pigments; maybe a modern Retrowave/Synthpop, in the spirit of The Weeknd, Dua Lipa, etc. Seems like Pigments is really taking off these days - and it just keeps getting better!
@@oblivionsoundlab A friend of mine decided, upon meeting me at university, that I looked like Michael Praed. He proceeded to call me Michel Praed for the next three years. I did not look like him. Sadly.
I'm sure that I will return to my beloved Diva before long! But the sample, additive and wavetable engines in Pigments opened up sound design possibilities that wouldn't be possible with subtractive synthesis.

The electric pianos were some of my favourite patches to work on. I like me some Twin Peaks and I couldn't resist paying homage in the patch demos!

Those sounds bring back so many great memories from the 80s... love the Robin Hood theme
Very nice retro soundset ! And RIP Angelo Badalamenti
I recently bought this at Loot Audio. This soundbank sounds so good

One of my fav sound designers 🔥love your work!
Thanks! I hope that you find some inspiring sounds in this bank.
Bass deep jam is beautiful! Amazing work guys!
Thanks! Gotta love a slap bass.

Thanks! I really enjoyed working with Pigments and would love to explore it further in future.
Yes indeed Pigments is rising fast as one of the best soft synths out there. Minifreak V is also very cool!
That fog horn sound awesome! Lots of good sounds in there! Great work!
Thank you! I wanted to make that patch as big as Godzilla.
Awesome! What a blast from the past. Some really familiar iconic patches.
Glad you enjoyed! I have another Pigments soundset in the works, which leans heavily into the digital sounds of the late '80s and early '90s.
Oblivion Sound Lab finally drops a new sound bank, instant purchase thank you!
Thanks for the support!
Amazing sounds! I love it and i hope you make a Carpenter Brut style soundbank for Pigments! :D
Dude. Robin and Marion. Wonderful!
I've been humming that song for thirty something years. It had to happen eventually!

I did not look like him. Sadly.
😂 It was the hair, wasn't it?
@@oblivionsoundlab It was. Though i felt it was more a Hugh Grant floppy, centre-parting, than anything else.
I keep trying to learn sound design on my own, but I end up using preset packs like this because they are so good. 😂
Damn, kinda wish this was for Diva lol they sound amazing!

@@oblivionsoundlab Ohh I see. I might get Arturia just for this sound back sound great!
